Hi Lily! Yes, it was good to be able to see so many different dolls in one place. :) The tin man is lovely, it was great to see one IRL as I'd only seen pics before. hugs, x
Hi Night Owl, The tin man would have been added to my wish list if Pippos were still making him, but they're not and unfortunately he's hard to find on the second hand market. Hugs, X
Hi Giac! Me too. I'm able to dress them and do a reasonable face-up. I have mostly worked with textiles and can make teddy bears & animals from mohair, soft toys from felt and cloth dolls, but I have never made a resin doll...maybe one day, who knows??? Hugs, X
Hi Sandi!
ReplyDeleteWow, there's a lot of dolls! I've fallen in love with the tiny Tin Man ❤
I see Halloween is coming there too! ;)
Hugs ^^

It looks like it was a really nice doll meet, gorgeous dolls!
ReplyDeleteOh it was, they are always so much fun. We have a meet every second month and there are always new dolls to check out. :)
DeleteHello Sandi,
ReplyDeleteThe art of doll making always fascinates me. Terrific pictures, and that last one is my favorite.
Big hug,
Giac
