Truffles and Little Dragon

Today I gave Truffles a new wig to wear, it's a very pretty Monique Gold wig with a combination of two different coloured fine fibres which look very much like real hair. After we trimmed her fringe, I sent her off to play in the Elvin Forest. It wasn't long before she came running back all excited.

Truffles: Mummy, mummy, look what I found in the forest today.

Me: What did you find dear?

Truffles: Come here and look . . . he followed me home. Can I keep him, can I, can I?

Me: Oh my! I don't think that's a very good idea Truffles, he's a baby dragon and his mummy will soon be looking for him.

Truffles: But he told me he doesn't have a mummy. He's called Little Dragon and he is all alone without a friend in all of the Elvin Forest.

Me: He maybe called Little Dragon, but he will be a very large Little Dragon before long and however are we going to feed him? Dragons eat people.

Truffles: But mummy, he doesn't eat much at all, he's vegetarian and only eats leaves. He's very friendly, see how he loves to play.

Me: Well he can stay for now, but you'll have to play outside, just to be on the safe side. We don't want him to set fire to anything, do we?

Truffles: Oh dear no. Did you hear that Little Dragon, you can stay for now, which means mummy will let you stay here for always. Shall we play with your crystal ball?

Little Dragon: No this is my crystal ball and it's not for playing with, it's very special.

Truffles: Now Little Dragon don't be like that. I'll tell you a secret, if you'll share your crystal ball with me.

Little Dragon: Okay then, you can hold it for a little while, be gentle with it and whatever you do, DON'T rub it.

Truffles: Why can't I rub it?

Little Dragon: You'll see things within the ball that will give you nightmares. Terrible, frightening things, that are suitable to be seen by dragons alone.

Truffles: Oh, I wouldn't want to see things like that Little Dragon. I promise you faithfully, I will not rub it. Thank you for sharing Little Dragon.

  4. I can see why you couldn't say no to that adorable little face. And the dragon is so cute. It's such a perfect size for her too.

I really love Monique wigs but for me, they are such a nightmare to maintain.

    1. Both my Petitemarine PF face ups are gorgeous Alasse, I will never part with either of them. The little dragon was fron one of those $2 shops . . . I always poke around in my local one 'cause I never know what lurks in there. :)

I do know what you mean, I've had a problem with one of my big girl's long wig, but this is short and quite manageable, thank heavens and I just love the colour.

    1. Hi Giac,
Now what would you do with a dragon I wonder? Wouldn't you be worried having him around your beautiful mansion? What if he breathed fire on it, oh my heaven forbid the thought!!!

Thanks for stopping by, I always enjoy your visits.

    1. Hi Alejandra,
This one was a bit of a chance buy, but it turned out to be right for Truffles, though I didn't mind her in the carrot wig, it kept getting matted.
I'm glad you like the little dragon. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with him when I bought him, but I new he would fit right in with my magical crew somewhere along the line. :)
      Truffles sends a kiss.

  8. She's adorable and so is her new friend! Obviously, you don't suffer from being a "helicopter parent" if she can go play in the Elven Forest and bring home baby dragons!

    1. Hi GT,
Good to see you out and about! I'm so pleased you can appreciate Truffles and her new friend. No "helicopter parents" here, my dolls are given free rein in the Elvin Forest, it's magical and although it can give them the occasional scare, it never harms them. :)
