New Arrival

Not really brand new, but a new addition to my family. He's a pre-loved doll who once belonged to Sim, a fellow BJD enthusiast. Every time I saw her Bory at a doll meet, the green eyed monster came to life. I asked that if she ever decided to sell him, to let me have first dibs.

Finally today, Sim allowed me to purchase him and bring him home. He is a Luts Kid Delf Moonlit Song Bory Centaur (human head), with default face up and full body blushing. He does have the gold tail and back piece to match his gold hooves, however, I shall not be using them as I like the tail that Sim made for him.

He is Theron, my Ipotane King, partner to Ondine (a Guardian Water Sprite) and father to Princess Hera, my Tiny Delf centaur.

  1. Ooooh I love his name. He looks really lovely. I like that face up on him too.

I'm always curious about the centaur dolls. I don't own one myself and most likely won't due to space issues fast becoming non-existent but I love how they seem to pose so well.

    Congratulations on getting him!

    1. Thank you Alasse, I am so happy to finally have him and he does pose so well. He will be my very last big doll, for the same reason.

    1. Thanks Musume. Hubby asked why my interest in centaurs and like you, I just love them. Perhaps it's because I loved riding horses as a kid.

  4. Congratulations on bringing him home!

That fibre (I think?) tail is fabulous, I can see why you would want to keep it - he really makes him distinct? :)

    1. Thank you JS. Yes the tail is fibre, Sim used an old wig to make it. When I first saw him he was wearing it with a black wig (not the one he's wearing now) and I knew then if I was to ever own him, I would keep him that way. If I could figure out how to make a decent mane, I'd probably add that too! :)

    1. Thank you Alejandra, I think he has wonderful style, but he needs some clothing . . . maybe a royal robe? :)

Not to worry, sometimes I miss posts too. I hope so.

  8. Hi Sandi!
Congrats on getting him! I really like the pose on the first photo and the backdrop you have used fits him really well. Now the family is together, I'd love to see a pic of Theron, Ondine and Princess Hera.
