Emmaline Settles In

Well it's all organised now, I didn't really want YG to go to the expense of sending a whole new doll and finally convinced him to just send her foot. Her new foot will be on it's way shortly. As you can see, it hasn't held her back at all, she is settling in quite well and can still be photographed successfully.

Emmaline (Emma for short) poses exceptionally well, and I love the eye mechanism. Even without her left foot and having quite loose elastic through her bottom limbs, she was easy to position for these photos. :)

I can see Emma becoming a very big favourite to play with. So all she needs now is a sister, so who will I choose? Will it be . . . Carrot, Mango or Paprika? Decisions, decisions!!

    1. Hi Irene,
Well you probably know me by now, I have to do everything in threes, so she's bound to have some siblings, maybe a brother this time for a change. ???

  2. Well you already know how hopeless I am as all those possible sculpts are quite lovely!

Glad to hear that she poses well. I've been curious about those bodies as they do look well put together.

She just looks very adorable. Gorgeous styling as always, her dress is a lovely colour and design.

And I was peeking at your diorama in the background there. I love it. Did you build that table and shelves or was that pre-made? It looks like such a great size and the bed looks so comfy.

    1. Hi Alasse,
I'm begining to wish I had discovered these dolls before, as I'd love to have a few of them. I will just have to see how the sales of my other dolls goo first.

The dress and bolero are from Iplehouse and the diorama is actually another backdrop, but we are working on a few bed designs at present. I have been toying with the sizes and working out which of my sketched designs will actually make it iinto hubby's workshop. :)

She definitely needs a sister! Would you do a review of her body once she has the new foot?

By the way, I just realized I never asked if you wanted to swap blog buttons with me!! Let me know!

    1. Hi there Giac!
This artist/sculptor does an excellent job of his tiny dolls, they really do look like real children. I didn't make this outfit, but It is ia lovely soft fabric which really does suit her perfectly.

  6. Oh She's just lovely!!! What a pretty little girl! She looks like she already settled in just fine hehe~ I'm glad that you will be receiving her foot soon, can't believe the artist was so nice as to wanting to send you a whole doll!! But I agree with you, a foot is all that was needed :)

She definitely needs a brother or a sister, or even a twin haha She's lovely like that :D

    1. Thank you Alejandra. Yes, she is settling in just fine, though she keeps asking where her brothers and sisters are? Perhaps that is because she IS a twin or a triplet, you know how they can sense each other. :)
