Gorgeous Greens

A couple more changes of clothes were made this week, as I gradually want to update all the photos in my galleries, both on here and The Elvin Forest. Many of the early photos I took don't really do my dolls justice.

Lindt (Ante) and Darjeeling (a custom Bonnie) did a pretty good job of modelling for me, but strangely their wigs look more blue than the shades of green they are IRL.

Lindt's dress is from Sunshine Cottage 8 and Darjeeling's pantsuit is a custom order from Ulanna. Both wigs are available from For My Doll and the shoes were from QMagicDoll on Etsy, however, they have since closed and although they did open a website, that is also closed at the moment.

  1. I love the feel of this shot. Lovely background and coupled with their clothing and face ups, I get such a forest vibe from them. Such delicate crochet work on those outfits too.

    1. Thanks Alasse, I think my photography is beginning to improve and although I can crochet, these girls do make lovely clothes.

    1. Hi Alejandra,
Colour matching helps me remember who's who, it becomes quite difficult to remember names when you have such a large family of dolls. Especially when you have the occasional senior's moment. :) Darjeeling is alson one of my favourites.

    1. Thank you Niina. Yes, the owl hats are fun, but I don't have any dolls that they would fit.

  10. Hi Sandi!
Your girls looking as adorable as usually ^^ Sometimes is difficult to show the real colour of wigs in photos, I have the same problem with Toshi's wig, which is blue and always looks green-grey and usually I have to edit the colour with Photoshop.
    Greetings ^^

    1. Hi Lily,
Thank you. Unfortunately I don't have Photoshop to help me with the wigs, so you'll just have to imagine they are greener. LOL!

  11. Lovely outfits and wigs, I wish I could get used to my BJDs in 'fantasy colours' as I love them....but for some reason they just don't look right on my dolls. I have a few colours and they're sitting in my wig box. I think I am incredibly boring when it comes to wigging my girls!!!

    1. Thanks Sharon. I guess because my dolls live in an Elvin Forest which is full of magic, it's easy for them to wear fantasy colours. However, those colours are not for every doll and I wouldn't say that means your wig choice is boring.

    1. Hi Irene,
The one on the left is more sea green and the other a turquoise green rather than the pale aqua colour you see in the photo. I think it must have something to do with my lighting that shows them to be slightly more blue than green. :)
I am pleased you like them though, thank you.
