Tempest

After deciding to keep my white ImplDoll Gela and incorporate her into my story as an Ice Troll, I have finally added sparkly lilac eyes and a white wig. It was difficult trying to find the right look I wanted for this Troll and doing her face up and blushing her hooves will be a challenge too.

Once again, I used Ultrasuede to make her a tunic, which I trimmed it with white gimp braid, adding a belt with a gold buckle at the waist. She is going to use Teno's mace rather than the bow and arrow that came with her set.

I shall probably make her some pumpkin pants to wear underneath the tunic, rather than a skirt, as I want her hooves to show, just need to look through my stash to find the perfect fabric to compliment the tunic.

  1. Can I just say, she is one of the most adorable trolls I've ever seen. I can't wait to see how she will look after your blush her. Will you be giving her a face up yourself?

The outfit looks lovely. I love the trim detailing. I also love how her eyes compliment that resin colour. It really pops.

    1. Hi Alasse,
Thank you. As she is a female Troll I wanted her to look pretty on the outside, and ugly on the inside (as in her temperament). I am hoping to do the blushing and face up myself, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Being an Ice Troll, I am keeping in mind the colours of snow in photographs, shades of white, grey and lilac, hence the colours chosen to dress her.

  2. Hi Sandi,
She's the loveliest troll I've ever seen. Her outfit is looking really nice, I like the colours you've chosen.
Those eyes look really nice on her. Can't wait to see her after you blush her.
    Greetings ^^

    1. Hi Lily,
Thank you for ALL the comments you left on your visit today, though I shan't answer them individually this time, but I want you to know I do appreciate them.

Now she has eyes and hair she doesn't look too bad at all, for a while there I was unsure whether to keep her or not, but I'm glad I did now. The eyes are really pretty, and look much better IRL.

She is stunning! I love the fabric you chose. It looks perfect on her and the contrast with her white skin is lovely.

    1. Thanks so much Nikki. I'm not sure if the face up and blushing will be "great", but I'll give it a good try. :)

    1. Hi JS,
Well the name describes her very bad temper, she might look cute but you had better beware if she gets angry. :)

    1. Thanks Musume,
I figured I had just about everyone else living in the Elvin Forest with fairly nice natures, so why not add something different into the mix...nothing like an Ice Troll with a Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde personality to stir things up a little. :)

  7. What a wonderful idea!! An ice troll seems so fitting! Can't wait to see more.
If kids knew trolls looked this cute, they would never be afraid anymore :)

    1. Hi Alejandra,
You've no doubt heard the saying "You can't judge a book by it's cover". Well this Troll may look cute, but beware!!! She will live on the outskirts of the Elvin Forest on the way to Ice Mountain. :)

  8. I need to get some of this ultrasuede, it's very versitile, isn't it. I think the tunic is great, the colour suits her white look.

    1. Hi Sharon,
I love it! There are two different thicknesses, so when you order, make sure you get the thinner Ultrasuede as it drapes better. It's great for lots of different things where you don't want hems, you can even make the tops of doll shoes with it, you'd need something firmer for the soles though. (Elf shoes would probably be an exception.)

The kids in the kitchen are waiting for someone to cook for them, they're not used to modern appliances. :)
