We Bought a House!

Although I made a home for my three tiny elves, Misty, Mossy and Hollow in an Ikea green house, I have so much Sylvanian Families furniture it's made it extremely crowded. Hubby and I first thought to put in a mezzanine floor, but being made of glass, it really wasn't feasible.

So after discussing this for a time, we decided to make the glass house into a room box for three of my other tiny dolls and to buy a new home for the RealPukis.

We have been tossing up between this little Field View Mill, which would take most of the furniture, but unfortunately not all ...

and this cute not so little, Beechwood Hall, which has plenty of space for everything.

It has 2 working lights and opens up to reveal 5 rooms.
It has a balcony on the first floor and a reversible piece for the ground floor
to make more home space or a garden area.

The Mill certainly looked wonderful, but the Hall was a much better buy all round ... on special it was $20 less ... so with luck, it should arrive mid week.

Here are views of the outsides.

  1. Ahh it's so cute :D I envy you people with the very small dolls. I would love a house for my BJDs, but as most of mine are SDs, yeah it won't be happening, haha xD

    1. You know I am a great enabler Nikki, so I encourage you to buy a house first, that will then enable you to buy a few Real Pukis to fill it!! Ha!Ha! You won't have to envy me any more. :)
Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

  2. Both of those houses look absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see your tinies having a good ole time in it! What are the Sylvian furniture like for the tiny size? I've been looking at them at Toyworld every time I go in there but I haven't made the jump yet, mostly because I am not sure if I will be keeping my tinies around or not yet.

    1. Thanks Alasse. The SF furniture is perfect for Real Puki size, except for the dining chairs. You'll see what I mean when I post Pics.
Do you have some that small? I thought your smallest were YOSD size.

    2. My smallest are the two Pukifee size girls. I used to have a realpuki a while back now but I ended up parting with both of them as the size was too small for me. I'm still waffling over the two Pukifee size girls.

    3. These houses & furniture would be far too small for PukiFees, but the Ikea greenhouse would be okay for a room. I shall put my other furniture in there for the Halflings (my Lati Yellow and Tiny Delf). I decided that seeing as I'm not using the wings Tian would have to become something else, so Halfling she is. :)

  3. Sylvanian families furniture is so adorable and detailed and I can't wait to see all of it set up in the gorgeous house, though the wind mill is also really adorable!!

    1. Thanks Irene, I agree and perfect for the Real Pukis. I am so tempted to purchase the Mill as well, but unfortunately I just don't have the space to put it right now. :(

    1. Yes, I love them both JS, but only Beechwood Hall is coming at present. If I can make a space SOMEWHERE in my home, I will order the Mill.

  6. That is very cool! The mill has so much charm and whimsy but I have to agree with the Beechwood Hall. It would probably be my choice too.

    1. Thanks GT. I really love that mill, but I am being practical for a change and following my head instead of my heart. :)

    1. Thanks Lucy.
I knew the house would be the right size as I have their furniture, but I'm unsure how a house of this size will fit in the Elvin Forest. I guess I will just have to use my imagination a little more. :)
