Fairyland's Fantasy

Sometimes I wonder if someone at Fairyland lives in a world of their own. After first looking at their News and finding there was another RealPuki Sira face plate being released as a PukiFee Event FP, I was over the moon and really looking forward to the Halloween Event.

However, when it came time to order and actually seeing the PukiFee Event FP. . . BLAH!! It was not a Sira after all, it looked just like any other PukiFee, I was so disappointed. So much in fact, it took the edge right off the excitement I was feeling about finally being able to finish my third fairy Linaria (Li for short). I have had her body sitting here for months, along with her beautiful wings, pretty shoes with diamante trim and floral circlet to adorn her hair.

Still, I have managed to console myself with a purchase of a RealPuki Papilio in tan resin. I chose to order the basic version with the addition of the winking plate and face ups done on both. This brought my balance to $300, so I qualified for the free FP, but I very much doubt if I will do anything with it.

I have something special in mind for this little guy when he arrives, and he will featured in a new story I am writing. Not with other RealPukis this time, but with my Narsha Zihu and Iplehouse's KID Paige (which hubby will be purchasing for me shortly).

  1. Oh I'm sorry they didn't release what you were after in the end! So glad you find a doll for something else though, those plans sound exciting!

    1. Hi Niina,
'Twas a bit of a bummer, but I've cooled down now and will concentrate on getting thiings ready for my incoming dolls over the next few months. There are always other dolls to keep me occupied. :)
      Many hugs,

    1. Thanks Musume. These things happen from time to time and I guess FL will eventually get round to doing another sometime or maybe I'll find another PF Soso or Pupu FP on the secondary market. :) You know me well enough by now, I always live in hope.

    1. HI Giac,
I'm over it now, my turn will come eventually. :) I didn't order the wings or clothes, just a naked little imp with face ups on both faceplates...but I am looking forward to working with him.

  6. A shame about the Pukifee event plate :(
But it's great you found something else to buy :3 Speaking from experience, FL's tan is gorgeous, but maybe you already have seen it in person? It's such a great color! :D

    1. Hi Nikki,
I had full intentions of buying this little guy in tan as he will make a wonderful little Imp. I have a couple of PukiFees in tan, so I know what to expect, he will be perfect. :)

  7. Oh congrats on adding this one! You had me sorely tempted by realpukis again. I had to visit the Fairyland site to have a look at that line and the temptation was very very strong. I love this little one's face. Really love how expressive the latest sculpts in this line are getting. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one.

For now, I am happy to enjoy realpukis through your fun photos of them. Although I may just be tempted in the future sometime ...

    1. Hi Alasse,
I can understand you being tempted. Initially I had planned to stop at three, as I thought they were too tiny, but the more I played with the three I had, the more I wanted to add this one to my family. He will be a single purchase this time though and will join my Narsha Zihu and IH KID Paige (who I plan to order shortly) to make a threesome. :)
