New Skirts

I finished sewing some new skirts to fit IpleHouse KID's or Dollmore Narsha.
This is a different style to ones I have made previously and not quite so full, but for those who love Fairy Kei this Popples skirt is perfect, though I am not sure whether I should add a bow/bows to the skirt. What do you think? Oh it also has a curved waistband, so it's higher at the front.

I'm yet to try it on my BID's and LittleFees, however although they may fit in the waist, I think they may be too long. Will post some pics later.

P.S. Just received my shipping notice for my Dollmore Narsha!! YAY she's arriving early!!!

  1. Hello Sandy,
The skirts are lovely! I would not add any bows...it looks very pretty as is. I'm glad she'll be early!

    1. Hi Giac,
Thank you, also for your input regarding the bows, it's helpful to get a second opinion.
It was a lovely surprise as I wasn't expecting her for another month. :)
      Big hugs,

    1. Thanks Musume, after I made the Chicky one I felt it was a bit too full, it certainly didn't need a petticoat to make it poufy! LOL! I think the blue one turned out much nicer.

  3. These are very pretty little skirts, I think any young resin girl would be happy to wear one!
Congrats on your Narsha shipping, I still have my Narsha and she was my first BJD, she's been with me for 10 years now...she's very yellow being French Resin but she is still beautiful in a sort of 'jaundiced' way!

    1. Thanks Sharon,
I really need to design a nice top that will go with them, or perhaps I should say tops, seeing as most of the Japanese street clothes seem to be layered.

I'm looking forward to her arrival, as now the weather is picking up I should be able to begin on her face up, along with all the other blank faces that keep staring at me!

Do you keep your dolls in a darkened room?

    1. Thanks Alasse. I'm still not sure if the Chick one is too full and am thinking of undoing it and turning it into two skirts instead, what do you think?

Ah she's on the plane as we write, so allowing for custom's clearance, probably Monday or Tuesday, so not too far away. :)

Me too, I am thinking I should also make one in pink, seeing that one turned out so well.
