On a Jet Plane

Two new sweeties flew in from abroad today.

An other Paola Reina / Las Amigas gal called Claire, and an African Carlota from Vestida de Azul, who I have renamed Zuri Mae.

I was really pleased with both of them and I am also happy that Zuri Mae can wear the clothes I make for Little Fees. I initially chose her to be a sibling to Ella Jane, but I think size and style wise she maybe better suited to Nora (as shown below).

I think Ella Jane maybe a little too chubby and young in the face to be an older sibling. :)

    1. Thanks Musume, I'm pleased you think they are even though I know you are more into BJD's. :)

  2. They both have such adorable faces! I always love the amount of detail on the mouths of the Paola Reina dolls.

    1. Thanks JS.
Yes the PR's do have such luscious pouty lips, I'm so pleased I found these little dolls . . . they are becoming addictive though. :)

    1. Hi Alejandra,
She surprised me too when I unboxed her, almost a perfect YOSD size match.
      Thank you so much. :)

  5. Claire has the cutest face, very cheeky looking. And the other little girl, she has lovely hair. I've seen the Paola Reina dolls in real life, I have one here too, but not the Vestida de Azul ones, although have seen them for sale on several websites.
I'm glad you're helping the Spanish economy though by buying these lovely Spanish made dolls ;)

    1. I love Claire so much, she was so lovely taken straight out of the box that I haven't re-dressed her. She is standing on top of my roll top desk in my studio so I can see her.
The Vestida de Azul dolls are lovely too, but being a sewer yourself you'll probably toss the clothes as I did. I never realised until I discovered My Doll Best Friend, that Spain made such lovely dolls. I'm quite addicted. :)

  7. Hi Alasse,
Thank you, I'm pleased with them. The white dress came with the doll and it's lovely IRL, the fabric is very soft and hangs well.
