Bunnies, Owls & Roses

I've just finished these outfits for my Gotz dolls, Katie, Hannah and Clara. It's a little unfortunate that the lighter printed fabrics look a little washed out in the photo . . . they are more colourful IRL.

I was hoping to have co-ordinating shoes/boots for them in time for this shoot, but I am still waiting on their delivery.

The short sleeve top is a very simple FREE pattern to knit and has a four button closure at the back. The dress is made up of five rectangles of fabric (1 contrast hem, 1 skirt, 1 band & 2 straps), no fancy cutting or pattern needed and can easily be made to suit any size doll.

Hope you all are having an enjoyable time with your own dolls & crafts. :)

  2. These are very pretty outfits Xanadu and the girls look great in them. I think in plain colours these would make great school uniforms too...
Thank you also for the link to the knitted sweater, I might give it a go! Well that's my intention anyway ;)

    1. Hi Niina,
It's ruddy cold downunder, but dressing the girls in spring/autumn clothing makes me feel cheerful and much warmer. LOL!

  6. You always pick such lovely fabrics for the clothes for your dolls. I really like the cute prints you find. It's a really nice style for them. I so wish I could sew as well as you but I lack the patience I think!

    1. I have the hugest stash of fabrics & wool to choose from so it's not so difficult for me to find pretty ones to coordinate with the wool. This one is so easy Alasse I'm sure you could manage to make it for your girls, it doesn't take much patience at all. :)
