Tyler Wentworth Temptation

There were four of these Tonner girls on eBay recently, but not all of them were painted as beautifully as this one.

She's a vintage "Party of the Season" Tyler Wentworth from the main Tonner line, dating back to 1999. The edition size was 2500 and was originally priced at US$169.99.

As soon as I laid eyes on her I knew she would be coming home to me. I thought her elegantly styled red hair, painted blue eyes, crimson lips and her pretty lace overlaid gown came together really well.

This Tyler is on a pale SA body which is in excellent condition and comes exactly as shown with her jewelry, stand, tag and original box.

I think she was a bargain at US$75 plus postage.

Do any of my readers have a different version of the beautiful Tyler Wentworth they would like to share?

  1. Ah I see why you like this one. She is very beautiful and her face paint is amazing. She looks like she is in great condition and wow, that is a fantastic price for her especially as she comes dressed too. Congrats on getting her! I am not sure how to post photos to comments so I will feature my Tylers in a post one day :-)

    1. Yes and red hair as well Alasse. :) I know the wait will be long, but I am getting used to these long delays in shipping from the USA. Thank you, one day soon I hope. :)

    1. She is such a lovely doll Barb, so I can easily see that your would admire her too. I thought so, especially considering being NRFB and how much she cost initially.

I shall look forward to seeing all your Tyler's when you do another "My Collection" post. I don't know how many different styles of these dolls were actually made, do you know when they were first released and ceased being made?

    1. Thank you Chiriann. I don't know what's come over me lately, but I have very little to do with my pocket money these days except spend it on dolls. But that's a good thing, right? :)
It's even better when I can find one at a great price. :)

  5. Thank you Linda, me too! I have found all my Tonner dolls to be great quality all round and certainly worth the money I have paid for each of them. The fact that they are all so beautiful as well is the real bonus though. :)

  6. Hello! I was looking for some dolls at both eBay and a similar place here in Sweden. Looked at this doll (!!) and thought she was really beautiful. There are some Tonner Dolls and even Ellowyne Wildes that I have been keeping my eyes on. I love the colors on this doll, Tyler, and she is a bargain too!
    Hugs!

    1. Hi Niina,
Oh dear, it seems you have been bitten by the browsing bug too! :) I hope you find some beautiful Tonner dolls to bring home! I think it was her colouring that first caught my eye and it's always good to add another redhead, I'm glad you like her.
      Big hugs,]
