Conclusion

In this wonderful world of imagination and play that we adults have come to enjoy, I've reached the conclusion that these kids could be anyone I want them to be. After all they don't live in the real world, they live in an imaginary dolly world, and if I see them as kids with the ability to dress as they like and do anything adults can do, or as Chiriann so aptly put it "be more adult inside than outside", then so be it.

Lily, Ivy and Heather arrived on schedule and for now they are dressed in temporary clothes. As I mentioned to Mia, this brings my kids up to eight and seeing as I prefer to have uneven numbers in each of my groups of dolls, I ordered another one to customise.

Nine barefoot kids is something I prefer not to have, so I have an assortment of shoes and boots on their way. Hopefully, they will all fit.

Here's the gang patiently waiting for the new arrival ~

  1. Yeah, I hate it when my otherwise fully-dressed dolls are barefoot...unless it's hot outside. Then it's okay. Won't be too long for y'all until it IS warm enuff to go barefoot outside!

    1. Well they aren't barefoot any longer RM. 😉 We are all looking forward to that, but I'm hoping they don't want to go swimming otherwise they'll be begging me for swimming costumes.

    1. And they all fit! Those little shoes are really cute Mia, I may have to order the rest of the colours. Having that iridescent glow makes them perfect for "evening wear" don't you think?

  5. Great group photo, X! They are all so adorable and the new shoes are fabulous! I can see how easy it would be to acquire closets full of outfits for these girls. Speaking of closets, you really need to build one for these girls! I am excited to see #9 and watch as you make the places and storylines for each of them come alive!

    1. Thanks Jodi. I was amazed I managed to get them all to stand, but they are pretty sturdy on their feet once they have shoes on. Closet is on it's way once I get to plan their bedroom properly, I've been busy on my Paris Boutique shop front. #9 has arrived and you can find her her: https://studio1283.blogspot.com/p/monst-chou-chou-custom-rose.html

    1. Hi Niina,
Thanks for catching up with all my recent posts, it was good to see you here again. I really think you would love these dolls, they are a good size, not too small nor too big.
The shoes have arrived and all fit well.
