I do like you concept of "percolate", allowing thoughts to filter through and yes, I do tend to do that most times (though I call it mulling, hee hee), but sometimes just like the percolator, those thoughts get clogged up! Fortunately things have been diluted and things are flowing again nicely, thanks to everyone's encouragement.
Hugs,
XXanaduhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06355069609640008727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135143418174232762.post-58036550938852631882015-01-31T06:25:50.523+11:002015-01-31T06:25:50.523+11:00I Really am with you on this. I try to remember to consider "procrastination" Percolation - because thats often what it actually is - things just need time to Percolate a bit and sort out. Its also ironically a facet of perfectionism, it can be hard to get started but mostly that too is just having to remember to Just put one foot in front of the other, one step at a time (simple things seem incredibly difficult for me to remember LOL!) Also about those that recreate the same thing every time, I don't think thats anything to be envied. The marvel is being able to create something anew in each thing - and from reading your other post already - thats exactly what you did! However, I am back on track at last, but for how long it's anyone's guess. LOL! Probably until the next lot of ideas bombard me. :)
Hugs,
XXanaduhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06355069609640008727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135143418174232762.post-40615355980780883982015-01-24T09:57:40.345+11:002015-01-24T09:57:40.345+11:00Hee hee! I am afraid it's a bit like my list of this year objectives . . . everything just flies out the window when a new idea creeps in to my head. However, you will be pleased to hear I am more focused today! YAY!!
Hugs,
XXanaduhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06355069609640008727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135143418174232762.post-78666957836510116442015-01-24T06:19:53.970+11:002015-01-24T06:19:53.970+11:00Oh one of those days! I have a million ideas running a-muck in my head and I want to do them all right now but I know that's not possible so I get overwhelmed and never end up starting them! Doesn't help that I am spreading myself over several hobbies!

Maybe try to focus on what you really want to do. Write down a list of everything you want to do and number them in order of "Want to the most". I find sometimes that helps me. A list and forcing myself to systematically go through each one in order of priority.
AlasseCarnesirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10014121062303198129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135143418174232762.post-67915821638856164762015-01-23T02:27:30.784+11:002015-01-23T02:27:30.784+11:00I would've commented earlier but I got....

Not sticking to one subject for too long leaves, I think, more room for inspiration. Don't fight it, just hang on an enjoy the ride.
Big hug,
GiacGiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04823654482564548862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135143418174232762.post-11644471101371750472015-01-22T22:45:16.158+11:002015-01-22T22:45:16.158+11:00Hi Sandi!

Years ago I used to start one illustration and didn't finish it when I drew another and another one until one day I said to myself that wasn't good to have 10 illustrations half-drawn and none finished. Now I write in a notebook what I want to draw or photograph to not forget and do them when I have finished the previous. It's hard, but if you keep in mind not starting too many new things until you finish the stuff you're doing, you can get it. Cheer up!
Hugs,
XSionnachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09073336284977011436noreply@blogger.com
