Looking for 16cm Anthros

I am a self confessed dreamer and I am lucky to have a hubby who, having an interest in science fiction, understands my penchant towards a world of fantasy. This morning over breakfast we were discussing the direction my dolls were heading in and the story that would encompass them all.

They all live in the Elvin Forest; humans, fairies, elves, sprites & sylphs, dragons, unicorns and anthros too. Not necessarily the same part of the forest, because the Elvin Forest is very diverse and has lots of secret nooks and crannies.

It was during this conversation that I thought it would be good for Jax to have two companions with which to share his home . . . perhaps a squirrel and a mouse or fox, not sure yet, but these do have potential.
My biggest problem is size . . . I really want them to be 16cm tall, the same size as Jax, and most of what's available is either smaller (12cm) or larger (26cm). I did come across this little pig named Patrick, and he could fit in size wise, although I don't know of any pigs that live in a forest.
So if any of my readers know of any anthros that are 16cm tall, please let me know . . . I'll be forever grateful.

EDIT: 9th Jan.

Thank you everyone for all your wonderful contributions, it's been good being able to do a quick whip around to the places you suggested to find just the right little critter.

After looking at them all, checking their sizes etc., it seems PIPOS has the perfect answer for me . . . this sweet little mouse is not quite as tall (14.2cm), but as Hubby said, mice are not as big as piglets and bunnies anyway.

  1. Jax is adorable. I can't help you with the same sized anthros, but Patrick looks very sweet. Wouldn't it be possible that pigs live in the Elvin Forest? Since it's not just some forest :-). Good luck with the search! Big hugs xxx

    1. Hi Night Owl,
Heehee, it appears that being very magical, nothing is really IMPOSSIBLE in the Elvin Forest, so I suppose it could be very possible pigs live in there too! Now just need to find the third person and develop the story a little more . . . thanks for the inspiration!!

  2. Hi Sandi!
Dollzone has anthros. Although they're 16cm tall, if you don't count the ears or horns, they're around 15cm. Their head is small XD In their site they have now a mouse, a rabbit, a sheep and a fox (a different model than mine). The only "but" is that they don't have a tail :( They also had an elephant, a dog, a cat, and maybe some other animals I can't remember. You can maybe find them in the marketplace in DOA.

By the way, pigs could live in the Elvin Forest, why not? At first pigs lived in forests. Patrick is adorable.

    1. Hi Lily,
I did consider DZ but aside from their long deliveries (6 months I've been waiting for my order) I wasn't overkeen on them even though the size was okay.
I'm pleased you like Patrick,as I think I will order him when I replenish my funds, he's really quite a sweet little pig and you know how much I love them.

  3. The world needs more dreamers! Hubby was actually the one to turn me to fantasy and science fiction. Prior to that I was reading mysteries mostly. Now I prefer fantasy, science fiction and urban fantasy.

And can I say, I love that you can talk to your husband about the direction of your dolls and their stories.

Hmm, I'll keep an eye out for you but the only ones I ever see are the ones that pop up during events usually, although ... Dollzone have a couple here. They seem to be 16cm anthro dolls. Only problem though is that I've heard Dollzone are so backlogged at the moment they are about 6 months behind. You could also try Pipos. They tend to sell a lot of anthro dolls in different sizes.

    1. Hi Alasse,

We always chat at the meal table and while doing the dishes, it's something we've always done even when the kids were little. It's funny but the conversation we had must have stirred something with his inner child, because I caught him reading Winnie the Pooh yesterday afternoon! :)

I have given DZ a miss but I will take a look at Pippos and see what they have, I forgot they did Anthros. Thanks for reminding me.

    1. Yes, I realise that now. I guess I was so focussed on pink pigs that live in the barnyard, I missed thinking about the hairy old worthogs that live in the forest. LOL!

  5. Sigh, Dream High Studio has some really adorable moles and rhinos, but they are only 10cm high. All the cute Doll Factory ones are too short as well. Dollzone has 16cm rabbit, sheep, fox and mouse. I saw pictures on Denver Doll Emporium.

    1. Hi Richi,
Didn't realise DHS had them, thanks for that. I will go have a peek even though they maybe smaller, the moles sound interesting. I think DZ will be a last resort, but I may try the Marketplace on DoA.

    1. I have checked them out M and although they are cute and certainly the right height, I wasn't sold and decided on the Pippos mouse instead. Now I have to rake in some cash . . . wish I could sell my Lia. :)

  8. Hi Sandi,

I'm coming in late in my comments, but if you're after bjd anthros there's a whole forum dedicated to them - http://anthroaddicts.freeforums.net/ It sounds like you've decided but you could take a look there anyway if you were interested :)

    1. Thanks for the link M, I will check them out because although I think I have made up my mind, nothing seems to be set in concrete yet and it will be a little while before I am ready to order them.
