On Saturday, my friend Carol and I went to a doll show where I was lucky enough to score four new wigs. Two will be used for my incoming iMdas, this one for Ivory (Elin) and the other for my Sophia (Anne). I am pleased with how it looks on her, it's much better than the one I had on her beforehand.
I had previously purchased the pair of yellow shoes she is wearing from QMagic on Etsy and decided yesterday to make her a dress that would match. She is wearing pale lemon bloomers underneath and I will probably add an underskirt at a later date, but she will do for now.
Here's a rather grainy close up.
The wig looks really good and the dress is lovely. Glad to hear you had a fun day with your friend and that you were able to score some nice things.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam. We actually went fabric shopping after the doll show, and you know how dangerous that can be. :)

Hello Sandy,
ReplyDeleteShe is great! I love the dress and the wig. she has a bit of a Shirley Temple thing going on.
Big hug,

Hi Giac,
DeleteYes the soft curly look suits her face much better I think. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Beautiful! I really love the whole look of the doll so much. Your background and props are perfect! Thanks for sharing this little cutie pie.:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Farrah Lily, I don't know what I'd do without my backgrounds, they add so much to photos when you have to photograph indoors. I am pleased you like her. :)

ReplyDeleteGlad to read you had a fun day with your friend. Your little girl looks beautiful with her new wig. The dress is cute.
Greetings ^^
Hi Lily!
DeleteAhh, doll shows are always much more fun when you have a friend with you that enjoys the same things. :) You would already know this from having your mum share your outings.

That's a fabulous wig - it reminds me of something out of a 1940s film!
ReplyDeleteHi JS!
DeleteI guess the style does look a little old fashioned, but I tried so many wigs on her before I found this one and it really seems to suit her face so well.
