Pomegranate Arrived

I was so excited to receive my Be With You Pomegranate today, and as I opened the shipping box I was greeted with this little cardboard suitcase. Inside, beautifully wrapped was a brown fury sleeping bag, a manual with the certificate on the back page, the wig I ordered, some little cards and much to my surprise a packet of Korean noodles!! LOL!

It was unfortunate that when I took her out the sleeping bag and while removing the wrapping from her limbs, her foot fell off. The little pin that was inside the foot had completely come out and her elastic along with the hook and the pin was lodged inside her limb.

I had been taking photos as I went, and quickly emailed YG. He was most apologetic and promised to send a replacement doll, I assured him I would be just as happy with a foot replacement. I think her face is simply gorgeous, the face up is so soft and natural and when you look closely you can see her tiny wee teeth.

She was dressed in a white petticoat and undies. I have named her Emmaline and now I am going to dress her in some finery, she deserves it the poor footless little darling.

    1. Hi Irene,
I am so happy with her and YG has been wonderful about everything. He wrote me to say he thought the resin colour could be slightly different and he wanted her to be perfect for me, so he will replace her. In the meantime, I'm to play with her until the new doll arrives. When my new one is delivered, I should send this one back and he will pay the postage.

YG is just so helpful, I will have no hesitation about ordering from him again.

    1. Thank you Musume. Maybe the metal wasn't imbedded far enough Into the resin, who knows, it's not anyones fault. I guess it was just one of those flukey things that just happen? I thought at first it had become unhooked, until I looked at the foot and saw there was nothing to attach to.

But as I said, YG couldn't have been nicer about replacing her, so all is well that ends well. :)

    1. Thank you Alejandra. I have been speaking directly with the sculptor YG and he has bent over backwards to help rectify the problem, so I have complete faith in him.
      More photos will follow today.

  4. She has a beautiful face - I love the slightly parted lips on her. It's too bad about the foot, but it's good to hear that a replacement is on its way.

    Congratulations on having her home!

    1. Yes, I agree JS, it was the parted lips that spoke to me in the first place. The sculpt is really lovely when you see it IRL. Let's face it, sometimes things go wrong beyond anyone's control and we accept that, as long as there is great customer service to follow up and this has certainly been a wonderful example of great customer service.
      Thank you.

    1. Hi Alasse,
Thank you, her name came to me straight away without me thinking about it. It's funny, because I normally take ages sorting out names.

No not yet, I think hubby might cook them up for his lunch tomorrow? :)

  7. Congratulations! Emmaline is lovely, I'm glad she arrived safely, but what a shame about her foot. It's an easy fix though and she'll be running around in no time.
Noodles! That is a very odd gift but nice to get them all the same!
    xx

    1. Thank you Sharon. Hopefully her new foot arrives soon, I want to take more photos of her. :)
The noodles were a surprise. I had tea sent once and it was removed by customs, but it also delayed my parcel . . . didn't care a hoot about the tea, but was annoyed about the delay in receiving my goodies.
