I have been so good at not ordering any dolls lately, but a doll got the better of me this morning. After looking at the wonderful Dollmore Narsha's on Flickr, I couldn't contain myself any longer and ordered a basic Zihu. I really love her little pinched nose.

Not being fond of black lines on the lips, I chose to order her blank. Not sure if I will do her face up or if I will ask someone else to do it for me.
Haven't chosen a name for her yet either, but she will probably tell me when she arrives. :)
I also ordered a few accessory items like eyes, some candy, a Tikan Kimono Set (but not for her); white shoes and socks, as well as a lovely carrot coloured curly wig.
Yay, congrats! :D I don't really know a lot of Narshas, but they do look very cute ^^

Thank you Nikki. I do have plans for her to be something quite different from how she looks in this photo, that was my reasoning when I purchased the red curly wig. :) If you get a chance take a look at my favourites on my Flickr, there are some stunners there.

Oh my gosh! I am so excited for you. Zihu is a beautiful doll. It's also a sculpt made by my favourite bjd artist (MyDolling). If I won lotto, I would be buying a ton of her dolls.
ReplyDeleteZihu was a sculpt I considered for a time to be the younger version of my Hee-ah as I thought she looked a bit like her.
I can't wait to see what you end up doing with her. Knowing the world your dolls live in, I bet she'll be a gorgeously magical character.

Thank you Alasse. I really should learn not to look at dolls on Flickr. :) It's so difficult not to fall for a doll when you see so many pretty custom face ups on a single sculpt.
DeleteYes, I can see how she would go well with your Hee-ah. She'd go well with my Ah-ra too, but I am planning a non Asian look for her. I don't know that she'll be a magical character either. I'm hoping she will look like the beautiful redhead I see in my mind.

DeleteI don't know what Dollmore delivery times are like as I have never ordered dolls from them before. I just wish the weather would improve here, so I could get started on all the other face ups that are waiting to be done...the list is long. :)

DeleteI haven't ordered any dolls from Dollmore before, so I am looking forward to seeing what Narsha's are like. She will be similar in size to my IpleHouse KIDs, which means she can wear their clothes too.
