But then I saw the Toki version and immediately new he would be coming home. Fortunately hubby liked him too, so it was soon agreed that he would be my Christmas present this year.
No photos have been officially released yet, but I can tell you he's really very cute. If you are on FB you can see preview shots here.
Of course Toki will end up a SHE and a fairy to boot!
27/6 Updated photo of the Toki full set with upgraded eyes, which hubby is purchasing for me, though Toki's sleeping plate, shoes and axe will come unpainted. I will use the clothing as a secondary outfit for either Nomios or Rugierro.

Toki is very cute. She has a face to look a bit mischievous, haha. Do you plan on buying the fantasy body or just a human version of Toki?
ReplyDeleteHi Lise!
DeleteI will only buy her with a normal body as I already have Fleetwood the hippogriff and don't really have a place in my stories for another winged beast. I love the Toki face and this little one will fit right in.

I saw them!! Griffins again! I may have named the girl and though an story for her, hahaha. But no buying, sadly. I'm happy you can get him as an xmas present!! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteNot as nice a winged beast as the first one though. I am just so happy to have Toki coming, it's made my fairy family complete. Thanks for the Congrats Musume. :)

Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that we're never safe! It's going to be a great Christmas present.
Toki is so cute, I love his face a lot and I can see him as a mischievous fairy girl.
Greetings ^^
Hi Lily,
DeleteI was for a long while, that's why I was able to divert funds to different dolls. Yes, Toki is cute and so mischievous looking that I think he will make the perfect fairy girl, I'm glad you can see her too. :)

These are quite lovely looking dolls. I love the fantasy creature theme to them quite a bit. I can see why you ended up going for Toki. That face sculpt will fit right in with your collection. Congrats on the impending purchase!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alasse, I think so too. I quite liked Coco, but not the face up and I am hopeless time wise at doing them myself, too many other things on my plate. Toki is perfect and as you said, his face suits the rest of my fantasy collection to a T!

Hellou!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love - that is one beautiful doll and just adore the fantasy creature! She looks cute with the eyes closed like that. Visited the links on facebook and I agree with Alasse - Toki will suit the rest of your fantasy collection! Congrats! Hugs!
Hi Niina,
DeleteYes I quite liked her with the eyes closed, but not with them open. As I needed one with open eyes, I was so happy that they also brought out Toki.

He is perfect! I can't wait to see your photos of him when he arrives!
ReplyDeleteMe neither Farrah, but as he is a BJD and has yet to be made, the wait will be long. I expect I will receive him in October, but as he's a Christmas present, no photos until then.

Waii! Both are just so adorable I think! Congrats on your upcoming arrival :3 :3
ReplyDeleteLong wait ahead for this one Irene, but I will post pics when he does.

He is really cute looking and will make a great fairy girl too, such a cheeky little face.

Yes he is cheeky and that's exactly what I was looking for. The other two have Soso and Pupu faces on PukiFee bodies and they are so cute. I was hoping that the event face may have been another like theirs, but it wasn't so as I was sick of waiting for one the same size, I was happy to settle for a RealFee. I'll just adapt my story so she's slightly older than the other two. :)
