Hubby and I risked the kiddy crowd today and went to see . . .
. . . if you get the chance to see it, please do. It's a real feel good movie, wonderful for the children and even better for adults of all ages, especially old sops like me! It made me laugh and cry.
Hope you are all having a wonderful week.

Oooh I really want to see this, my mum went and loved it. I really liked the first one. Our local cinema shows films in their original language with Spanish subtitles so we occasionally go if there is something we want to see, however, they don't last long and I have a feeling we missed this one :( So unless they have it again I suspect I'll have to wait until the DVD comes out. :( I don't want to watch it in Spanish because I can't keep stopping and rewinding at the cinema if I don't catch something first time round! LOL xx
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
DeleteWe saw the first one and loved it and when I saw shorts of this one, I knew we couldn't miss it. Sometimes a sequel is not as good as the first, but this one certainly was and it had a great cast of British actors. I also think it's ending left it open to a third one, at least I hope so! :)

This looks really cute. I haven't seen the first one, but the girls and I saw the preview when I went to take them to see Coco a few weeks ago. I loved the books! Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteOh Farrah, take the girls to see it, you will all enjoy it so much. How was Coco? (BTW that's my dog's name)

Oh that's right I had forgot about this movie. I remember seeing a trailer for it ages ago. Good to hear it was a good one. I will have to give it a whirl when it comes to DVD. Did you see "A Wrinkle In Time" is coming out? I saw the trailer for it the other day and am completely pumped for it.
ReplyDeleteHi Alasse,
DeleteNo, but I shall keep an eye out for it. :)

And I have not even seen the first one!! Gosh, need to see it! Paddington is just the cutest bear!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Yes Niina, you should go, you'll love it, that little bear looks quite real on the screen. :)

My kids actually asked if we could go to the library today to borrow the first Paddington movie. (I had wanted to see it in theaters but life got too busy.) Unfortunately it was too cold out (-14 Celsius), so I said we will get it when it warms up a little bit. I love Paddington bear and I intend to see the sequel at the movie theatre soon!
ReplyDeleteHi Sam.
DeleteI am hopeless when it comes to kids movies, they are so much fun to watch and sometimes even a little sad, but hubby and I both enjoy them. Actually on Saturday, when it was so hot (42c) we stayed in doors all day and watched "Neverland", "Miss Potter" & "My Dog Skip" one after the other. We bought the first one and will get the second when it becomes available in the stores, as I will want to watch them both again. :)

Oh man, I LOVE Miss Potter! Movies are so fun. We borrowed Paddington on Saturday and we watched it that night with pizza. It was fantastic and we loved it. Paddington 2 opens in theaters on Friday the 12th. Looking forward to it.
DeleteI am so glad you all enjoyed it Sam, you will love the second one too and you don't have too long to wait. Funny, we had pizza on Saturday too (homemade), I think pizza and movies go hand in hand. :)
DeleteDidn't kow this existed might check out the first one :D!!! It looks really nice
ReplyDeleteOh do Alejandra, they are both wonderful kids movies (for adults).

I never watched the first one, but maybe I should give it a try :D I like "feel good" movies ^_^
ReplyDeleteYes, give it a try, then go see the second one too! Feel good movies always cheer one up. :)
