Introducing Denise

She is a Kaye Wiggs Mini Leyla, fair skin with freckles. She arrived nude with pale blue eyes, but they were very light, so I changed them, added the blonde wig and dressed her. 


I am calling her Denise. And that does it for me, at least for now, I have no more dolls in the pipeline . . . unless of course, I am fortunate enough to receive an message from Kaye (she has an occasional sample doll for sale) or an email from Joyce (I'm on her waiting list again).


I think she has an innocent look about her. What do you think?

    She definitely looks innocent even angelic I would say. I am loving those little freckles. The face sculpting is really nice too. Congrats on her arrival!

      Thanks Alasse, I am so lucky to have her and have decided to get her another blonde wig so she can on occasions let her hair down. :)

    I agree, she does have a very innocent look about her. Layla is one of my favourite sculpts by Kaye, I have her in the original MSD size but with light tan skin. Your little Denise is very cute and I look forward to seeing more of her here on your blog Sandi.

      Thanks Sharon. If I had known Kaye was going to have pe-order of the sunkissed Mini Layla up so soon, I may have waited, but the fair skinned one will certainly have a permanent home with me. I like the MSD size but I prefer the mini as she's a good size for much of my clothing patterns.

    Thank you Rachel. It feel like I have been freed from stress to be honest. I worry so much about dolls while I am waiting for one to arrive, I am not the most patient person either. :)
