This doll was offered via lottery for W Club members December, 2015 and I was lucky enough to snag this one today from someone local . . . so no exchange rates or overpriced shipping costs. YAY!
I wanted a Poppy with short hair and really didn't want to cut and style the one I already had. The clothes and shoes will be used for other dolls, though I'm not too sure about the head wear.
However, I have something really special in mind for the short haired Poppy . . . but more on that later.

Oh wow, congrats! I have this one too! I'm not a huge fan though of the outfits sadly. My doll has never worn them since she got here and I redressed her. Have you got her yet? She is on the body with the articulated ankles and flat feet. She will be different from the other body you were telling me about. I definitely have a love/hate with this particular doll. For me, I think it's the hairstyle and the lipstick colour. I am planning on replacing her pink lipstick with something more subtle, possibly a nude colour at some stage. She looks really nice with a hat which is why mine wears one!!

I thought so, I noticed the joint through her stockings, now I have three different Poppy bodies. Now see I really wanted a short haired Poppy, so I am really happy with the style of her hair, but I can see the style may not suit everyone. Yes, the lip colour is bright, but I think my colour will cover it.

Thanks Sharon. It's been really hot here and I have been painting, so I haven't concentrated on her yet. I love the heat, but can't possibly think of doing two things at once when the weather is in the high 30c's. Mind gets a bit fuzzy and often has the need for tiny naps every now and then. :)
