A Little BJD Love

Pippin was feeling a little poorly today, so Jazz insisted she take it easy. Pippin sat in the chair and put her feet up on the stool, then Jazz tucked her in with a blanket.

"Thank you" said Pippin.

Jazz replied with a smile, "You're welcome".

It's been quite a while since I took any BJD photos, so I quickly took these while I was in the mood. :)
Hope you are all having a happy dolly week!
Big hugs,
X

  1. Do you keep your bjds on display? Or do you pack them away to protect them?

    1. Hi Rachael!
I keep them on display in my doll room, which has blockout curtains and double glazed windows. It's nice to be able to just switch on the light and see them, rather than having to undo boxes all the time.

    1. Thank you MC. I have always been fond of both these dolls, Jazz especially because she has such a happy smiling face and she makes me happy when I look at her.

  4. I love your set-up, although I especially admire your blanket. Sometimes we have to just jump in and take advantage of dolly motivation, for sure.

    1. Thanks Barb, I knitted the blanket myself and although it's a great for a bed throw, it's a little large for her lap. :) Oh I agree and strangely enough, now I feel like taking a few more . . . do we call that self motivation?

  5. That sounds like me too. It always seems like a while since I took the BJDs out for a photo session. If they didn't weigh so darn much!!

Your girls look adorable. That chair is pretty awesome.

    1. Yep, we're like two peas in a pod. :) Thanks Alasse, I really enjoyed putting this, the foot stool and little table together. Assembling, painting and upholstery was the easy part, inserting the cord gave me a little grief though.

    1. Hi Niina,
Well it has been a while since I did and they needed my attention. :) I haven't lost any love for them, although there are a couple I'm thinking of selling.

  8. Aww two cute girls but I particularly like your tanned Pipi, she's gorgeous! I always wanted a tanned Pipi and never found one in the EU, so I have my two Ante's which I love :)

    1. Thank you so much Sharon. I loved Pipi from the first moment I saw her, the tanned skin is beautiful, but there are so many gorgeous Fairyland dolls, including Ante (I have two), it's difficult to resist them. :)
