JR Again

After restyling her beautiful hair and dressing her ready for bed . . .

The joint at the top of the knee rotates and the other bends on a hinge below the knee cap.

The joint above the ankle rotates and the one below bends up and down.

Her wrists work the same way and the elbow has a ball and hinge combined. These are really peculiar joints, but so versatile, I think this gal is going to be a keeper for sure.  I even like her hands!

Her hair is so silky and rooted nicely, so when you put the hair up, it looks very natural, no funny odd bits at the back at all. And wouldn't you know it, (aside from my rotten photography shadows) she photographs quite well. I am really beginning to love her face just as it is . . . there's a special quality about it . . . do you see it too?

Well that's it for me today, enjoy your weekend, I know I will. :)
Big hugs, X

    1. Yes Barb, she's cute alright, but I feel she's only being cute to entice me to purchase her a sister or two.

  3. I love her new hair-do :)! She is such a sweet girl, but not too sweet - just the perfect amount of sugar ;). And she poses so well!
She would be definitely happy to have sister. Or two. Or three :D...

    1. Yes, I agree with you Joanna, but I really didn't need to fall in love with another doll. Hahaha! Perhaps it's a good thing there are not too many of them available. :)

  5. The photos look very cute, she looks adorable. The shadows you mention don't bother me at all.

    1. Thanks MC, your very kind, they may not bother you, but they gripe me. But serves me right for rushing them, I should have taken my time and set the lights up properly.

    1. I was surprised by this doll when I received her Alasse, as she was much nicer in reality. Her joints make her extremely good at posing.

  8. When I saw this post and you wrote 'again', I had to go back and check if I'd missed something, because she looks so nice, like a brand new doll now! I actually thought she was one of the bigger jointed dolls from Ruby Red Galleria, because her joints are really similar to those dolls...I had one of the small ones and thought the posing was great.
I think this little girl has come up really lovely and the outfit you've knitted for her is perfect with her colouring.
