A Little Preview

Of what's to come, over on my other blog. I have been working on a couple of dioramas and playing with my "kiddies" at the same time.

Holly has kicked off her shoes so she can enjoy some down time with a good book, cup of tea and her favourite biscuit.

I have no time join her, she has me building more bookshelves, doing more painting, sewing curtains and binding books. Who would have guessed how demanding these little kiddies would become? They're slave drivers, all five of them!

  1. Haha, you are so right- we work and built and the dollies enjoy! Good for her, she looks very comfy in her chair.

  3. It looks wonderful. How sweetly she asks for a new book and curtains... Mom, won't you refuse me? Xanadu hugs.

    1. Thank you Magdalena. To look at this little girl, you wouldn't think she could be so demanding, but you're right, I cannot refuse her. :)

  4. Fantastic photo of the little one. I love how you have captured the angle so it looks like she has been startled by your appearance while she was enjoying a good read.

    1. Thanks Alasse. Yes, she does have that "Uh oh" look on her face doesn't she. LOL! I'll have to give the other girls some blog time soon, they are all beginning to get grumpy with me. :)

    1. Thank you Musume, I'm learning to make the dioramas look like they are actually lived in. :) I think little details like the shoes really help.

    1. I think so Chiriann, it would be great if the dolls would let me do the same. LOL! You too could make furniture like this, just check out the Fairy Meadow Miniatures website, they send overseas. :)

  7. This doll is absolutely adorable! I would love to see more photos of her. I'm a big fan of dioramas with dolls. Each photo has the potential to tell a unique story and spark the imagination.

    1. Hi Inesa! I shall be taking more photos of her and her siblings as soon as I have finished with the Kiddies Kitchen and the Library. Oh I agree, I think once the dioramas are finished taking photos will be my next priority, I need to gain more experience behind the lens. :)
