Another Preview

Things have been progressing slowly with my diorama plans, but I have managed to begin the  revamp of the "White Panther Jazz Club" which I began some time ago for my Integrity Toy dolls.

I changed the walls around, two of which are painted Navy Yacht Race and the third  is Sundance Gold. As the third wall has a window, I shall use the old panther fabric to make a curtain. The same black & white tiles which I used for the "Kids Kitchen" is being used for the floor.

I didn't like the old stage and am in the throws of making a new one. To my eyes the mic and piano don't really look right sitting on the floor, what do you think?

As you can see, word gets around quickly in the doll room, so it wasn't long before Kumiko and Hatsuko decided to go check out what I had done. Within minutes of their arrival, they were enjoying a good old sing-along at the piano and mic.

I had no idea Kumiko and Hatsuko were so talented, did you? And so sneaky . . . they certainly wouldn't have dared to go to the Jazz Club had the IT dolls been out of their boxes!

  1. Oh I am loving the set up and the colour of that wall is gorgeous. Reminds me of royal blue. The microphone I think is fine where it is. Try the piano on a stage of its own and compare the two and see which you like better.

You have some talented girls over there!

    1. The colour is darker than royal blue Alasse, but it may not show up on your screen, computers do strange things to colours. I'll try that for sure, but the stage will need to be big enough for both, just in case.
Yeah, and these two are not always stuffing their faces with cake! 🤣

  3. I hope so Linda. 😊 The chandelier is actually a Christmas decoration which I purchase a couple of years ago.

  4. I agree that the piano should be in a rug or something, or perhaps a small dais. But the walls are perfect! This is going to look incredible once finished!

  5. I love the colour of the walls and the chandalier! Yup, some kind of scene would be nice, but girls didn't need it to give a concert, it would seem :)!
