Since arriving home from my holiday I have been busy with my room box and have changed my colour scheme for the Fleur & Ruban boutique. Using two of the walls from the Library and a plain wall from the yet to be completed Kids Bedroom, I settled on a yellow and grey pallet.
I have also begun assembling the Atomic Age Living Room and it just needs a few accessories like wall art, curtains, perhaps some lighting and minor incidentals to complete the look, but this is how it looks so far.

It's looking good so far! I love the doll's lap rug.
ReplyDeleteThanks RM. :) Still a little way to go though.

Hi Xanadu! Your diorama is looking good. I really like that forest green color on the right wall and the shaggy rug. They also have a beautiful "view" from the window.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Hi MC! I'm happy with my progress so far, but I am a little frustrated I cannot find exactly what I am looking for to decorate the walls. The view is another of those pics downloaded from pexels.com.
DeleteYou too though there's not too much of the weekend left now. :)
Big hugs,

The view from the window is stunning! Somehow it looks great together with the rug and baige/bronze furniture, like the extension of the park or garden....
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to have some flowers too, just to break up the green, but it was a perfect size for the window. I guess it does Chiriann, thank you. :)
DeleteShe looks very happy amongst the green!
ReplyDeleteI think she would look happy anywhere Mia, but green is her colour for sure. :)
DeleteBTW I'm still having problems commenting on your blog.
Hi Xanadu! Wonderful diorama and adorable doll. The room with the beautiful window view looks incredibly cozy. It's evident that you've put a lot of love and attention to detail into creating this scene. It's truly a delight to see your creative work. Keep up the fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteYou are so very kind with your comments Inesa and I do appreciate you popping by to visit. It pleases me to know you enjoy my work.
