Yesterday evening, I was lucky enough to receive two new dolls, the first was my long awaited iMda Babette which I ordered without a face up (which I will show you later) and the second was a tan LittleFee Pipi girl with a default face up. I didn't quite know what to expect as I hadn't seen a Pipi as a girl let alone in tan resin, so I was quite impressed when I removed this little sweetheart from her box.
I am so pleased with her face up, it looks so natural. I have never been a real fan of pink lips and these suit her beautifully. The wig is just one from my stash and the dress one I purchased a long time ago, neither of these will stay with her as I have something in special for this little one.
I think I shall name her Pippin.
Welcome Pippin!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, she is a really beautiful doll. I love the face up. It is very natural looking. I must say that I really like the colour of her eyes too.
The tan dolls are really stunning. I don't have any for my collection yet, but I am beginning to think I might just "need" some!
Hugs,
Sam
Hi Sam!
DeleteThanks, I am so happy with her and the eyes are default from FL. The tan is lovely, but there is a downside though, sometimes the seams show because you can't successfully sand the tan. It doesn't bother me though as my girls are dressed most of the time, so I don't notice it. You should have one in your family, they are beautiful to photograph.

Oh, she is beautiful! I love those eyes in her, too! Congrats on her arrival xx
ReplyDeleteThanks M! She really was a wonderful surprise, I don't know what I was expecting but she certainly exceeded it!! :)

Hello Pippin, nice to meet you! I love Fairylands tan, it is a wonderful skin color. And with this sculpt even more.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Sam, you need a tan doll, too! ;)

Aurinel
Hi Aurinel,
DeleteI think I must do this more often, just jump in heart first! :) She turned out to be quite wonderful.

ReplyDeleteHi Alejandra, Pippin sends a big thank you for the welcome.

She's adorable! I agree that pink lips don't seem like they would work with her skin tone but in fact, they work quite well.
ReplyDeleteThank you G, I am so glad they didn't use pink on her, I think it would have looked ghastly, this natural colour definitely works much better. :)

Thanks Pooklet, she is very girly and choosing the tan has worked out well, I don't think there are many tan girl Pipi's around. :)

Welcome, Pippin!
ReplyDeleteTan skin is very beautiful, so your girl is lovely. As for her name, came in mind Pippin from Lord of the Rings, lol (love the books and movies), so it's a great name ;)
Greetings ^^
Pippin says thank you Lily. :)
DeleteI love the LOR too! We have the whole collection and when it's really cold and dreary we have been known to watch the series from beginning to end in one day.

Congrats! She is so incredibly cute! I am thinking now that I need a tan pukifee pong pong or tan ante (even though I already have an ante), because...ugh, they are just so cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jordy, I think so too. :) I think a tan Ante would be lovely addition to a family. Not sure about Pong Pong, Pong Pong 2 would be great though.
