Thoughts of a Mermaid

For some time off and on, I've been pondering the idea of adding a Mermaid to my little Fantasy group. However, most of them are too big to compliment those I have already. I really wanted a YOSD size doll, so after too many hours of browsing the net, and still not finding what I was looking for, I came to the conclusion I was wasting good sewing time, so I gave up looking.

However, when I received Theron (Impldoll Teno), I began thinking about Gela and how I could perhaps adapt her to become my mermaid. Although I have an idea of where I am going with her, I still haven't worked it all out, but I did order a white Gela last night! I'll probably give her bow & arrow to Theron, but her horns and hooves can stay in her box until I figure what I want to do with them.

Now I know she's in production and will probably be here sometime in July, I'll think about making her tail while continuing with my other sewing.

EDIT: Have decided to sell this doll, it's available through the DOA marketplace.

      Whatever I attempt will be with fabric and not resin, but I think she will look like a mermaid if all goes to plan. :)

    Oh congrats on ordering her! I had a friend who had a Gela. She is really pretty. I -almost- bought her back when Impldoll first released her but didn't have enough funds at the time. Can't wait to see how she turns out under your creative hands.
