RealFee Body Swap

Periwinklestars (DOA) wanted to see the pink resin / clear pink combination, so I decided to do a little swapping about with my RealFee bodies and try some different poses with the mermaid tail.

This next photo is how they were ordered initially, the NS was a full set, the Pink and Tan without face ups are wearing clothes made by me.

  1. She is adorable! I love her tail and her hair is so cute. I can't believe she can balance on her tail like that. The color is gorgeous against the gray ocean backdrop. :)

    1. Hi Farrah,
Thank you. It takes a little fiddling to get her sitting steadily, but she does balance quite well when you finally get her in the right position. For me, as one who gets easily frustrated, I found her better to pose than expected. :)
Ah the backdrop is a little Gothic, hence the grey. I would have preferred something not so dark, but it turned out okay after all.

    1. Hi Irene,
Yes it is and although there are not that many joints, she does enough poses for a mermaid to look okay. :) Yes seeing her this way, makes me wish I'd ordered more with tails.
      Hugs.

  3. The sculpting on this doll is great! The fins and mermaid tail are so delicate! You are the first I see with clear pink + clear fins!
Your trio is so cute, love them! <3

    1. Me too Alejandra, I may end up keeping her in the pink and putting the normal skin legs on the full set . . . only time will tell.

  6. I'm not into fantasy type dolls but have to admit that these are very cute! I do like their little faces and those ears are sweet too. I love that tan girl, I just love tan dolls :)

    1. Hi Sharon,
OMG I love fantasy and all the different colours! I am hopelessly hooked on Fairyland tiny dolls, but I am running out of room. I have a tan Bory Centaur arriving this week, he belongs to a friend who's moving him on ~ TO ME! YAY!

  7. That mermaid tail looks so well sculpted and very good at posing!

The different colours next to each other are great! I do love that pink colour, it's a very subtle pink.

    1. It's a bit fiddly, but I love it Alasse. I had wanted a mermaid for such a long time. I wish now I had also ordered the mint, but I'm sure there will be more releases in this size down the track (I'll have more money then, I hope).

  9. I wouldn't have thought of a mermaid fairy (merfairy?) but darn it, they are just too cute! Of the three, I think I like the girl with the tan skin and blue eyes best. Maybe it's the nice contrast with the tail color or maybe it's because a mermaid with a bit of a suntan looks right to me.

    1. Hi GT,
Yes I like the tan with the pink too, the resin colours look really pretty together. Never thought of it that way, but the suntan could work well, after all we all relate to the sun when we think of the seaside. :)

    1. Thank you Lucy,
I'm afraid these little darling are becoming as addictive as my PukiFees!! Not so good for the ol' bank balance, but as they say, "shrouds don't have pockets".
