New Things

A pretty backdrop, some knitted clothes for Amelia and arrivals from Fairyland.
I'm not happy with the way the armholes turned out so I will be redoing them later today, but I love the pastel colours on her.

Fleetfoot also flew in on Friday, with Ruggiero on his back. This hippogriff is one hell of a feat of engineering by Fairyland, it has to be seen to be believed! I am so glad I splurged on this one and I love the violet resin, it's so pretty IRL.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. :)

    1. Thanks Musume. I wish you had too, it's a fabulous sculpt and poses in so many different positions. (There's more pics on my flickr.)
I like this girl in pastels so much I think she would look great in some more Fairy Kei dresses. :)

  2. Hi Sandi!
Congrats! I love the hippogriff, it's really nice. I've watched the Fairyland video on which you can see the different poses and I was amazed.
That backdrop is lovely and somehow magical, it really suits Amelia on those pastel colours.
    Greetings ^^

    1. Thanks Irene. Do you really need a reason? I had no idea, when it comes to dolls, I have none!! LOL!!

I do love the colours on this doll, she has such a soft and pretty face it would be sacrilege to dress her in anything else but pastels.

    1. Thanks Alejandra. I really need to find a pretty pastel lilac now and perhaps a very soft blue, to complete the colour palate. Your right about the backdrop, it does have a happy feel to it.

Yes, and the hippogriff is in your favourite colour too! :)
