Age is a quality of mind.
If you've left your dreams behind,
If Hope is cold,
If you no longer look ahead,
If your ambition's fires are dead.
Then you are old.

But if from Life you take the best,
In Life you keep the zest,
If Love you hold,
No matter how the years go by,
No matter how the birthdays fly,
You are not old.

    I have this strange feeling of being young and old at the same time. I feel like I'm 16 years old, but when I talk to peers I sometimes feel like I have learned more from life. :P

    What a great way to look at age, after all it's just a number isn't it! I always am shocked when I think of how old I am, I forget, in my head I believe I'm young! Forever Young!! Oh no, now I'll be singing that song all evening! ;)

      I like to think so Sharon. My brain feels young all the time, very little different to when I was in my twenties, but the sagging body gives my age away. LOL! Singing is not a bad thing, it keeps one happy. :)

      Thank you Xaya. I agree with you, age does have some benefits. However, wouldn't it be nice to know what you know now and have the body of a 20 year old.
