How does your garden grow?
I have sweet pea and anemone,
And sunflowers all in a row.
I finished her pretty pink dress last weekend, but had to wait until today for Mia to arrive, before I could take these photos.
Mia was also sculpted by Australian doll artist, Liz Frost (Wizworx). Both Fifi Muffet and Mia Mary are 13" tall, have simply the best posing abilities and are probably at this stage of my collecting, the most loved of all my BJD's.
I find them a good size to handle and dress, beyond easy to pose and wonderfully photogenic to boot!

Thank you Giac, I'm glad you think so. It was her face that caught my eye in the first place, but her size and the fact she poses so well really sold me on this gal. :)

Congratulations on the arrival! She is very adorable and I think she looks really wonderful in pink. Bonus that she's a great poser. That seems hard to find in the bjd world in my experience.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alasse. Yes, I think pink is definitely her colour, goes well with her sweet face. I have a few who pose well, but she and Fifi are really super good to pose and her hands are gorgeous.

What a beautiful girl! I believe I recently saw two of these very same girls but in tan....I was sorely tempted, if it weren't for the fact that they were being sold outside of the EU....not good for me with horrible Spanish customs.

Thank you Sharon, my Mia is in the light tan resin. I haven't seen any darker tan's and thought Liz only made Mia in two skin tones (Fair and Light Tan), though I could be wrong. She is worth owning if you do manage to get your hands on one. :)
