Making it a Trio

I've a little dolly news for you . . . Liz Frost of Wizworx has these darling dolls up for pre-order today. Lunette and Lukas are smaller versions of Liz's Luna, and the same size as my Mia Mary and Fifi Muffet. They will be available in Fair Skin and Light Tan and you'll find them HERE!

PHOTOS POSTED WITH PERMISSION from LIZ FROST

After bringing home my gorgeous light tan girls and being absolutely thrilled with the quality of Liz's dolls, I have decided to add a fair skin Lunette to my collection. Lunette will make a wonderful sibling for Fifi and Mia, bringing my Liz Frost dolls up to three (I dislike even numbers).

Here are a few close up variations of the fair skin Lunette, however there are more gorgeous photos on Liz's website, so please pop on over.

I quite like the dark haired girl the most, though they are all beautiful. As I have Fifi as a redhead and Mia as a brunette, I really would like my lovely Lunette to be a blonde this time . . . but we will see when she arrives. :)

Waiting is going to be the hardest, as it could be as long as six months before she arrives home, and you know how impatient I get waiting for a doll to arrive. Boy am I going to be antsy around October this year! GULP!

Well I have much more to attend to today, so I'll catch up with all your blogs on the weekend.
Hope you all have a great one!
Hugs,
X

  1. I agree, uneven is better, I actually have the same feeling about that! That's why my modest "model agency" aka clothes model group consists of 5 dolls!
The waiting is always the worst about ordering a new doll isn't it :-). But, it will be worth it, these dolls are so very cute! They have beautiful faces and the big eyes are adorable! Your two girls are lovely and the 3rd girl will look very good with her two sisters :-).
    Enjoy the weekend, hugs :-)

    1. Oh you are a good girl Linda, I wish I could have stopped at five, but I think I have a doll addiction!!

You are so right about the waiting, I hate it, but one thing I do like about ordering from Liz is I only have to pay half as a deposit up front, instead of full payment when ordering the ABJD's.

I used to think big dolls were better, but I really love this size and the youthfulness of the 13" dolls. :)

Hope you had a great weekend.

These are spectacular. the detail is amazing and the finished dolls are so beautiful. Hopefully the wait till October will not be too much torture.

    1. Thank you so much Giac. I am glad you like them, they really are so pretty. Well October seems so long away, but if I keep busy hopefully the time will pass soon enough. :)

  3. They are all gorgeous dolls. I do see why you like the dark haired girl though. I think the dark hair goes really well with her face and I like how it does frame her face.

I'm the same with even numbers. I dislike them so I try to make my collections end in uneven numbers. Doesn't always work though!

Six months can fly by so fast given how this year seems to be panning out so it will be October in no time. I hate waiting for dolls too. Even for a month! I think this is why I have slowed down a lot on doll purchases recently.

    1. Hi Alasse!
I'm not sure if my girl will actually end up as a brunette, I so wanted to have a light haired girl, but I guess only time will tell. You know what dolls are like, they tend to tell you who they want to be. :)

This year does seem to be flying by doesn't it. Hopefully knowing of this arrival will keep me from going overboard this year, I don't know if it's even possible to fit any more into my doll room!

  4. I'm the complete opposite, I seem to feel better with even numbers!
I love the look of this girl and she's very tempting but I hate that long wait and I thought I might wait and see if I could get one of Kaye Wiggs's new girls that she's releasing herself in the summer....so many lovely dolls to choose from!
Of the three above, it would be hard to choose a look but I do like that short pink wig on the girl in the photo on the far right. I don't usually go for 'non natural' colour wigs for my own dolls but sometimes a doll just really suits a 'fantasy' colour, and I think she's certainly one of them.
I really look forward to seeing the three girls together when the last one comes home :)
    Have a lovely week Sandi!

    1. I guess each to their own Sharon. I don't know why I like the uneven numbers, it's strange, but I just do. :)

Oh yes Kaye's new doll is gorgeous, so I can see why you'd want to bring one home. Unfortunately she's just too big for me now. Maybe down the track she'll do a mini version (hoping).

I also like the pink wig girl, but I have so many dolls in fantasy wigs already. I shall probably debate which way I will go until this little lady arrives. All I know for sure is she's for me, no matter what hair colour she picks. LOL!

      You too!

  5. Such wonderful dolls! And what a long wait! Let us wish that time goes by fast!
Uneven numbers make me feel odd. That is why I try to have even numbers. It is strange how it can be!
I feel for the blond one. But the face looks better with the dark hair. Pink is always great, but in one way it feels like the wig takes over. The dolls are gorgeous and I am sure it will be for you, what ever hair color you get. :)
    Hugs!

    1. Thank you, yes it is a long wait, but Liz is a one woman show, so I expected to wait. I like them all, but I shall wait until she tells me who she wants to be. I've tried making dolls the way I want them, but it's peculiar how in the end they make the final decision of what they want to look like. :)

    1. Hi Rachel,
I'm not surprised you haven't heard of them, Liz doesn't do a lot of promotion. Her dolls are beautifully made, so I will probably add more in time. :)
