It's a Brand New Day!

Went to bed last night after this . . .

and awakened to this . . .

What a wonderful beginning to the new year! Bright golden sunshine and as the day developed, the sky turned to the bluest of all blue skies.

THE VIEW FROM MY FRONT DOOR

Not a drop of rain or cloud to be seen anywhere! It truly has been a day that makes one feel glad to be alive.

A huge thank you to all those who left their kind wishes for a happy 2019, I hope where ever you are in the world, your day begins with beauty.
Big squishy hugs,
X

    1. Thank you Joanna. 😘

I know what you mean about winter. When it's cold and dreary outside all I want to do is hibernate, so I don't blame you for wanting to stay in bed where it's all comfy and warm.

    1. Thank you Niina, I wish, but I know the sun won't stay this way ... autumn will be here before you know it! Summer is never long enough. :)

    1. Thank you Chiriann. We are very fortunate to have the wonderful park just across the road. Our dog loves going for a walk twice a day, it's leash free so he gets to run without a lead . . . lots for him to smell too!

I do feel for you, I hate the cold weather and you have colder temperatures than we do . . . but you do get to see a White Christmas sometimes. :)

    1. Hi Alasse,
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here the last few days, so the start has been wonderful, but today will be a really hot one before a cool change arrives. Going to spend a relaxing day inside watching a couple of DVD's.

  6. Our weather here is about the same as Chiriann's, only the temperature is about 4 Celsius. :) I've seen plenty of white Christmases, but we didn't have one this year.

    1. We don't ever get snow here where we live Barb, but there is snow on the mountains in winter. As pretty as a white Christmas looks in pictures, I'm pretty happy it's summer here.
Keep warm by the fire, big hugs,

Happy New Year! I wish you all the best for you and all your beloved ones.

Those photos are amazing, the view from your front door is very beautiful. Here is cold and I'd love it to snow, but it hardly happens

    Greetings ^^

    1. Hi Lily,
Thank you. Yes, it's nice being able to look across at the park instead of a row of houses. :)
      Stay warm indoors, big hugs,

    1. Thank you Farrah, and the same to you and the girls. I have never once regretted purchasing this home, even though it was just a bare paddock opposite when we arrived . . . the local council did a wonderful job of the park and it's so much better than looking at a house or a brick wall. :)
