And there you have it!
That's all for today, hope you have a wonderful dolly week.

Aww, your books are much more elaborated than mine :)! They look perfect, next time I will use your tutorial - the effect is definitely better.
ReplyDeleteThat is so kind of you Chiriann, thank you. :) Hahaha! They are far from perfect, silly me forgot to do printing on the spine, but seeing as these are for a table display, rather than to sit in a bookcase, it doesn't matter too much . . . thank heavens!

Great idea, again reminds me of my dollshouse days :) I was forever making stuff for the occupants of the house...thank you for the tutorial (and the reminder) Sandy xxx
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome Sharon. Actually I'm surprised with all your previous experience that you haven't done something similar for your larger dolls. If you have any further suggestions for "dollhouse" props which can be made for larger dolls I'd love to see them . . . pretty please!

These are some elaborated books and I love it!! I'll give it a try at some point since all the books my dolls have atm can't be opened LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you Alejandra, I hope you do, you'll probably do a better job. :)

Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteYour books are beautiful and elaborated. I want to make books for my dolls and figures for a while, first I'd need to buy ink for my printer XD
Greetings ^^
Thanks so much Lily. They are pretty simple to make, so you should have a go when you get new ink. :)

Wow I like it <3 Great idea and they looks very authentic. Hugs :)
ReplyDeleteFor anyone who is interested in fashion or has dolls interested in fashion, they are simply a must have. :) Thanks Urszula, I'm pleased you like them.

What a great tutorial!! Your books looks super realistic :)
ReplyDeleteThank you BB, as I've said they are not perfect, but suit the purpose they were made for. :)

Thank you for another amazing tutorial! I am going to try this one. I love the books you chose. That Dior one, I have that one too. It came free with a magazine I think. I use it as my interior design inspiration book.
ReplyDeleteHi Alasse!
DeleteYou are welcome. Ah you may well have something similar, but my wonderful Dior book was purchased when my daughter and I went to see the fabulous Dior exhibition held at the NGV (it certainly wasn't a freebie, darn thing almost cost an arm and a leg, and it weighs a ton! LOL!). You would have loved seeing his gorgeous gowns IRL, they were divine! It took me all my willpower to stop myself touching them. :) Will post some pics of the pages in a later post if you like.
Big hugs,

Ooooh would love to see photos of the pages. Mine just has the Dior cover but inside are only just blank pages. Have you seen the Megan Hess fashion illustration books? She does a lot of different designers and I am sure she has done a few Dior ones too. I love fashion illustration.
DeleteNo I haven't seen them, but I will look out for one for sure, thanks. :)
DeleteI am honestly saving your post because I must have these books done! Especially for Coco, when I get her back someday! The tutorial was really detailed thank you for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to have been of use to you Musume, they are fun and quite easy to make, I'm sure Coco will love them.
