Violet's New Dress

I made this dress and jumper some time back, actually I made several this style, but they were shorter and looked great on my Gotz dolls. This one always looked too long on them and it sat in my clothing box just waiting for the right doll to come along.

For some unkown reason, I had never thought of trying it on Violet until this morning, she loves it and I think it suits her perfectly. Now she has a change of clothes, she doesn't have to wear her raincoat or trousers anymore.


Violet is my one and only Zwerganese Junior designed by Nicole Marschollek-Menzner, for her 2016 collection and who arrived to me in July 2017. She is known as an Artist Doll, but I have her listed amongst my play dolls . . . I may have to revise that list sometime.

Size 50cm / 19.7 inches.
​Full vinyl doll made of phthalate-free material which is harmless to health.
Five joints for mobility.
Hand-painted face.
Wig.
Real leather shoes.
High-quality clothing,
Packed in high quality cloth bag.
Made in Germany.

    Hola Xanadu, el vestido es fantástico, yo soy incapaz de coser nada, así que admiro a quienes saben hacerlo. Pero tejer sí me gusta, y entiendo la felicidad de hacer la ropa para nuestras muñecas. Violet es una chica preciosa ¡y grande! y está guapísima.

      Hola Ilona, gracias por tus muy amables comentarios. Disfruto cosiendo y tejiendo para mis muñecas. Las muñecas Zwergnase son bastante diferentes a otras muñecas, se podría decir que son únicas y me encanta cómo Nicole las viste con zapatos de gran tamaño.

    Loving the colours and fabrics in her outfit. The turqoise pearls are fantastic, I like how they make it a full outfit all together. ^__^ It's always nice to have something to choose from. Hugs <3

      I like seeing cheerful colours on brunette dolls Xaya, it seems to bring them to life. The necklace is her original one, I just removed the big stone that hung from the middle. It was hot pink and clashed with the red jumper. Oh yes, nothing like having the choice of a larger wardrobe. :)

    Thank you so much Linda. It's funny that, although my Gotz dolls are about the same size it just wasn't right for them, and suited Violet to a T. Not sure why, maybe it's because she is thinner, or maybe the colours were better suited to her. :)

    You did an amazing job. The dress is perfect for Violet. The colours go well with her skin tone, her hair colour and her eyes. If you ever get the Ruby Red Fashion Friend doll, I am sure she feel have some lovely outfit.

    You have a really good eye on what colours go well with your dolls. The red really makes her hair and eyes pop and that stance you have her in, she looks quite ready for just about anything.
