She is an 18.5 inch ball jointed doll made from vinyl and hard plastic, with inset hazel coloured eyes, curly rooted raven hair, articulated elbows, wrists, knees and ankles.
Her ensemble consists of a fur trimmed velvet wrap dress with with eye-catching applique, a feather trimmed hat, golden shoes and earrings.
Everything was still in the original bags and she had never been removed from her box. She is really drop dead gorgeous!
I have been more than fortunate this time, as she was available here in Australia and once again at a very fair price. Angelique completes my Tonner collection . . . at least for this year. I ordered her Monday evening, she was shipped Express Post and I received her today, it's so nice to finally have a doll actually arrive.
Now I need turn my attention to sewing and knitting once again, as my dolly purse is thoroughly depleted.

I love your taste in dolls! :) She's got a very elaborate and unique outfit, and I like her face.
ReplyDeleteThat's not surprising Barb, as you have many of the same dolls. LOL! The dress is made of panne velvet which drapes beautifully and her face is even more gorgeous when you see her IRL. The more I look at her, the more I admire the talent of Robert Tonner. I think she has to be the most stunning doll I own. :)

Me parece maravillosa, tan sofisticada pero tan dulce a la vez... me encanta su cara femenina de grandes ojos y labios perfectos. Y su outfit tan lujoso y elegante... Es una muñeca espectacular. Estoy empezando a tener mucha envidia de tu colección, jajaja... Disfrútala mucho.

Muchas gracias Illona. Es una muñeca preciosa, quizás un poco más cara que la mayoría, pero estoy muy emocionada de tener finalmente una muñeca de la gama Evangeline Ghastly. Para ser completamente honesto, estoy muy tentado de ver si puedo encontrarle una hermosa compañera. Hay bastantes en eBay en la actualidad, sin embargo, la mayoría están en los EE. UU. Y creo que esperar a que una de estas muñecas venga de allí podría empujarme al límite en este momento. Ya estoy esperando a algunos y están tardando tanto en llegar que la espera me está matando.

DeleteI have a feeling there maybe some arrivals next week, but deliveries are so erratic at present, I have learnt that even when USPS say they are in the country, they are not always here. It's not until Australia Post scan them that you know they have actually arrived . . . so the waiting continues.

Thank you Sharon, I love everything about her and wish I'd discovered how beautiful these dolls are IRL before now. I can see already I am going to need a Parnilla and Evangeline to complete this set. Unfortunately the same instant dolly gratification will not apply to them. In the meantime I am going to savour every moment I have with Angelique. :)

Oh don't say that Linda, I will need to build another diorama to cope with her height. :) But you are on the right track, I can see her singing in a night club, but I'd need to find a microphone tall enough. LOL!

Ooooh you got this one! I saw this one for sale but not within my budget sadly. I am glad you ended up getting her! She looks beautiful and her gown is amazing. That is fantastic too that she was never unboxed. She looks in pristine condition. Big congratulations! I am looking forward to seeing more photos of her!
ReplyDeleteShe was a fair price as I didn't pay what she was asking, I put in a couple of cheeky offers before we agreed to settle. :) Lovely lady to deal with though, and the doll was in perfect condition, still had all her plastic protection and accessories in bags. But I cannot put her earrings in. GRR!
