Quick Note & A Belated Happy Halloween

Some of you have already picked up on this, but just to bring you up to date . . . I recently changed the title of A Little Dolly Toybox to The Little Dolly Toybox, so you may want to change any links you have to it.

An oldie but a goodie :)

I'm still working on my diorama, but should have some new photos for you soon. Things have been kinda hectic here lately as Victoria has finally come out of stage 4 lockdown and we can now travel up to 25 kilometres from home, shops and food outlets are open again too. So after 112 days of total hibernation, I have managed to have my nails done and actually have a proper lunch with my daughter and dine at a restaurant with my hubby . . . feels sooooo good!

I know things are not going well in the northern hemisphere and I hope and pray you all stay safe and healthy. Keep safe distancing and WEAR YOUR MASKS!!! I know they can be horribly annoying, but believe me it helps.

  1. Halloween kind of came and went for me. I didn't really pay too much attention to it but I never do anyway. I did make Pumpkin Pie and it was quite delicious although next time, I need to make my pastry thinner. I'm glad to hear about the lift in restrictions. Just in time for Christmas too! Hope you are keeping well!

    1. Well you can gather from my late post it did for me too Alasse. LOL! I've never made a pumpkin pie, nor pumpkin scones, but I do make the yummiest pumpkin soup when we have them growing in the vegie patch.
It's a relief that we are almost out of all the restrictions, but the way we are going it shouldn't be long though we will be still wearing masks at Christmas . . . at least we can remove them to eat!! :)
Hope you are well too, big hugs,

  2. Oh, these look familiar! Lovely picture! I actually like wearing a mask outside. It's warm and nobody cares how you look under it.

    1. Thanks Mia. :) I guess in your case that may apply, they do make one's face warm, but for me all they do is fog my glasses. :)

  3. Cute little Halloween girls. Glad that you have been able to enjoy the daily joys. Over here the restrictions are getting harder, so it is just to continue with the staying indoors. Have a happy week! Hugs!

    1. Thank you Niina, it's been a little while since I posted any pics of my BJD's. :) Me too!
I gathered as much, from the news we have been receiving it's getting really bad over your side of the world. I hope the restrictions help it settle down as it did here.
      Take care, big hugs,

  4. Such a lovely little witches :)! I don't really celebrate Halloween (always too late with preparations ;)), but I love halloween-ish photoshoots :).
Things are... really scary here. Hopefully Australia will be free from virus soon!

    1. Thank you Chiriann. We don't celebrate Halloween ourselves, but I do enjoy seeing the Halloween doll phot shoots.
We are doing really well here, but I am concerned about the people I love in the northern hemisphere. It is very scary, especially in the USA.
      Take care & big hugs,

  5. Even more awesome with today's news Linda ... we will be able travel all over our own state now the travel restrictions are to be lifted at midnight. We have had 9 consecutive days without any new Covid cases and no new deaths. The second round of tough restrictions really helped bring us to this point, so I hope it works for all of you. I know it's hard and so darn annoying, but it works if everyone follows the rules of the restrictions.
I still haven't had my hair cut, and am kinda getting used to it. :) Thank you, it's an oldie but one I have always liked myself. :)
Big hugs and please know we are thinking of you,

  6. It is true what somebody here said... people basically ignored halloween this year! Stores were already promoting xmas stuff! Loved the photo and wish you the best! Also I do agree: WEAR YOUR MASKS!

  7. Hi Sandi.

Lovely photo ❤ Here Halloween was pretty ignored and people is already waiting for Christmas despite the situation is not going so well. We have curfew, bars/restaurants are closed (which I don't miss because I never visit these places), we can't meet more than 6 people... And I do agree: WEAR YOUR MASKS! Even if they fog our glasses LOL!

    Greetings ^^

    1. It's an old one Lily, but a favourite of mine. It nearly slipped by unnoticed here this year too, but a few bloggers jogged my memory. :)
Things have improved quite a bit here and I actually managed to get my hair attended to today, it's such a relief to finally get it cropped and restyled! Try putting your glasses over the top of your mask, it helps. :)
