Primrose has been baking in the Kids Kitchen and is annoyed that "someone" has stolen one of her tarts.
Oh dear, Holly you are a naughty girl! Couldn't you at least wait until they had cooled down first?
The final pieces of furniture have been completed and the wall with the French doors is done.
From left to right: Broom cupboard, bench/cupboard, oven/rangehood, corner bench/cupboard, bench/cupboard, sink/cupboard, double bench (under window), refrigerator/cupboard. Centre: Island bench with two stools.
All the doors open, including the oven, fridge-freezer and French doors.
That's it for today on here, but there's more to read over at Studio 1283. Happy reading, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. :)
Of all the dolls you photographed in this lovely kitchen, the monst girls look most natural in it, don't you think? They are so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteWell it is called the Kids Kitchen after all, so I guess they should look at home in there. :) To be absolutely honest with you, I think they are so cute I haven't been able to play with anyone else for weeks! I'm so pleased you inspired me to add more of them to my collection.

Hi Xanadu! The kitchen looks great. The dolls are very cute and your photos turned out great. Those miniature pastries look so yummy! How big is this diorama? It doesn't look huge, but sometimes box rooms take a lot of space.
ReplyDeleteWish you a lovely weekend!
Thank you MC, I'm happy with the final look. The 1:6 scale box measures 650mm wide x 440mm deep x 455mm high. It does take up a fair bit of room and I have the base permanently sitting on my light table now and just change the wall as I need. The walls slot in and are held together on the corners with magnets. I keep the spare walls between this table and my desk.

Aaaawwww, you can't blame her for stealing one of the tarts, they look so delicious! And the kitchen is simply stunning, the colours look both cute and elegant. This diorama is absolutely perfect and I'm sure girls will enjoy sitting and cooking (and baking ;)) there!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Chiriann, I don't know about the baking & cooking, but I'm sure they will have fun in it. :) BTW the tarts were made by a lass in Thailand, she's Hobbymini on Etsy.

Oh this kitchen looks amazing (and so do those baked goods!). I love how it turned out and perfect scale for the dolls to enjoy and bake up a storm.
ReplyDeleteIt took a little while to put all the finishing touches on it, but I am pleased with how it's turned out. Did you notice the French doors Alasse? They were a little complicated to put together and I had trouble following Lorraine's instructions, but got there in the end. :)

Nice diorama with dolls. This is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you Inesa, I'm happy you think so.

The kitchen looks so nice, Xanadu. It looks like it would really be fun to spend time in. Primrose needs to teach Holly how to bake her own tarts, or at least tell Holly to bake for herself.
ReplyDeleteIt sort of reminds me of a 1960's kitchen now it's all done. I agree Barb, it is about time Holly did her own cooking, as she never stops eating. LOL! I've had such a great time making this room and I really appreciate your kind words.
