New Arrivals!

It seems like forever that I have been waiting for this parcel to arrive from Denver Doll, but my patience (or should I say impatience) was finally rewarded today and Ante couldn't wait to see what was inside.

ANTE: Heavens to Betsy, there's an awful lot of paper in here!
ME: Well sweetie, it's good that they have protected the boxes inside from damage.

ANTE: What's this face doing here without the rest of the head and no body?
ME: That's a freebee Ante, Fairyland had an event running when I ordered your sisters.

ANTE: Oh look Ma, isn't she a darling. She has lovely tan skin, I wonder if she's been spending a lot of time in the sun?
ME: Yes, I think she will be a wonderful addition to the family. No silly, that's the colour skin she was born with.

ANTE: Oh I see I have another big sister too! She's very pretty and what beautiful big blue eyes she has.
ME: All the better to see you with my dear. Come on Ante, let's get these girls dressed we can't sit around here all day, we don't want the girls to get a chill.

  2. Sam here.
WOW! That is fantastic. Such beautiful dolls. (I LOVE Fairyland dolls!) I bet you were so excited to open that box! It seems like it takes years for those kinds of parcels to arrive. I know about the paper thing too - so much of it. I usually spread it out for my cats to play in/on.
    Enjoy your new arrivals!

    1. I love them too Sam, and I think that could be my undoing! I hate the waiting, but I am learning to be a tiny bit more patient, but it's lot like the calm before the storm. There's so much excitement in the house when a parcel arrives, even hubby is getting a kick out if them these days. :)

    1. Thanks Lily. I am so happy with both of them and have been trying different wigs on for size and appeal, but not settled on any yet. Once that's done I will have a better idea of how to dress them and will post photos.
