Tutorial: Fairy Skirt for Puki Fee

I can hardly believe it's been a week since I posted here, I have been so busy and the time has just flown by. This little tutorial is just a tiny part of what I have been up to . . .

For this project you will need:

40 cm long x 56mm wide broderie anglais lace. The width of this lace will be the length of the skirt, so if you want a longer skirt, purchase a wider lace.
Cut 3 strips of matching lawn, voile or batiste each 35mm wide.
1 x 12cm long for the waistband and 2 x 7cm long for trimming the back closure.
2 press studs (snaps), needle and matching thread.

That's all folks!

  1. That is so cute! I think I have some lace like that, too... Thank you!

    1. Thanks Melinda, thought you would find it easy and I'm pleased you're going to have a go at making. :)

  2. This is so cute!!! and so simple. It would be easy to vary its size just by varying the materials. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!

    1. Thanks Cassie, I don't think you will have any problems adjusting this pattern, it's very simple. Good luck in Japan!
