In between all the other stuff I do, I've been knitting (usually in the evening). It's the first time I have used such tiny knitting needles (just a measly 1.5 mm) and fine blended cotton and wool, so it was a challenge for me in the beginning. The first ones I finished are actually very long jumpers (sweaters), designed to be worn over a frilly tulle skirt (which, not surprisingly, are yet to be made).
I had fun embroidering the fronts of these and adding the little flower buttons. As you can see, each one is slightly different, and the backs close with a zipper.
Both designs are made to fit Fairyland Little Fees, Iple House BID's and Dollzone 25cm BB's.
Very very nice! With such small needles the effect is very realistic. The colors and flowers are beautiful, and I like it that they close with a zipper. Great work!!! x
ReplyDeleteThank you Night Owl, I do need a little more practice with them, so it's just as well I have more wool coming. :) I like the zippers too as I have big hands and tiny buttons become very difficult for me to undo and I cannot stand Velcro as it snags the dolls hair.

Hi Sandi!
ReplyDeleteLovely! The ones with flowers are adorable and it's a great idea they close with a zipper ;)

Thanks Lily, I'm pleased you like them, it makes a pleasant change from sewing. I've been knitting some for my boys too, will post pics when they are wearing them.
