Last Photography Session for 2014

I managed to do one last session before Christmas of the two new skirts made in these pretty Tilda fabric coordinates. This time I added a bow as suggested and made a simple crop top for my model to wear during the session. I also made the skirt a teeny bit longer this time round.

The back of the skirt closes with three tiny press studs and the crop top is a feet first pull on.

My Rogebell / SD 13 Pure Skin still hasn't had a face up, hence the no head, no feet photo look! :)

After seeing these, do you think I should add a bow to the other skirts?

  1. Love the skirt and the top! You use great color combinations and fabrics :-). I like the bow, and I like skirts without bows too (that doesn't help much does it LOL). Big hugs xx

    1. Thanks Night Owl, I love this Tilda fabric and wish I had purchased more of it, but in different colourways. It's got good body, yet it's soft to the touch, pity you can't feel it through the computer screen. :)

  2. I think they would look great with a bow too, but theyalso look nice without it.
The bow does add a nice detail though
The colors of this is lovely, the skirt is amazing and the crop top is very nice

It would look great with a cardigan or jumper in the lilac color you sent me :D!

    1. I am going to add a bow to two of the others, and buttons to the third to see what they look like, if I don't like them I can always take them off.

When I have more time I will make a cardigan or jacket to complete this outfit, but I will probably go with pink or cream, I have very little left of the lilac your jumper was made from.

  3. These look lovely. I agree with Fantasywoods, they look nice with and without the bow. I love that the skirt uses two different fabrics.

    1. Thanks Alasse, I'm glad you told me that, as I was wondering whether people liked the two coordinates or would rather it all made from one.
      Happy Christmas!

  4. The little bow detail adds a lot~~ How about making a removable bow? So that it's an option - use it or don't, and also the place of the bow can be changed x3

    1. Hi Irene, welcome to my blog. That is a lovely suggestion, but right now I feel I have done enough. I always find the more I fiddle the worse it seems to get. I'll keep it in mind for the future though. :)

  5. I love the way the different fabrics work with each other. Very nice work - and choice of fabrics and colours!

To my eye the bow makes a lovely addition but not a necessary one - adding the bow makes for a slightly less casual skirt, but it's a cute piece either way.
