Do You Belive in Fairies?

Do you believe in fairies?
Could fairies really exist?
Do they live in flowers and gardens?
Do they play in the morning mist?

Do they tend to nature
With loving care?
Do they fly through the forests?
Would we see them there?

Are they oh so gentle?
Are they heaven sent?
Do they fly with the butterflies
Until the day is spent?

Oh I would love to see them,
To catch sight of them at play,
Dancing around the flowers,
Just going about their day.

P.S. Just in case you're wondering why the blog has been so quiet lately . . . I kissed a frog and he turned into a prince . . . which in turn has kept me quite busy!

Have a great week!
Hugs,
X

  1. Lovely poem. I began to collect items with Fairies in them, like little statuettes and things before BJD. I didn't collect for long as I found BJD so they kinda took the place of the fairy statues, being fairy like they can be. :)

Ah, how wonderful, I hope you'll have great busy times. ^__^ Hugs.

    1. Hi Xaya, I am pleased you enjoyed it. :) I have always loved fairies and many of my dolls are either fairies or creatures of fantasy.

Busy yes, unfortunately there never seems to be enough hours in my day to complete all the tasks I plan to do.

  4. Enjoyed this poetry. I used to hunt around the gardens for fairies and mushroom circles after it rained when I was a kid. Ah those were the days!

I loved your reference to the Frog Prince!

    1. Hey your welcome Sharon. I really haven't been up to much at all, just needed a break from the ol' 'puter so I could knit some clothes for Cassandra.

  6. PS I have never seen a fairy, however, I'm sure there are Borrowers in my house....maybe they are part of the 'fairy' family? ;)
