Well it did for me . . . I purchased another full set Tulabelle this morning and for US$10 less than the one I previously ordered. :) I've already received my tracking number and now I just have to wait until she arrives.
Seems that's all I ever do is wait! I'm still waiting for the original payment reversal to top up my dolly bank balance though, which I am not so pleased about, as I have already made plans to spend it!
Fortunately I managed to scrape together enough to make this purchase. :)

Just not sure on which doll though. I have been thinking about my Alysa on the CI body and she is much taller than my other Integrity dolls, which makes her all on her lonesome . . . poor thing, she really deserves a sibling or friend at least. So perhaps the kindest thing for me to do, would be to purchase a doll the same height.
You all agree right?
Somehow I can always find a valid reason for buying another doll.
So who do you think would make a great sister or friend for her?
Ack, can't believe how long it's taking for your refund. It's ridiculous. It should be done within 24hrs! I'm so glad you were able to get Tulabelle in the end and that was fast! Tracking number already. She'll arrive in no time!

I don't think I own a CI body so I'm not sure how tall they are. I know my FR girls on their FR2 bodies are a lot taller than my Poppy, Dynamite Girl and my Misaki girl. I was so tempted to get that nude Alysa on the store but I have to keep my pennies safe as I have a .... too long list of dolls I want to get this year. How did this happen?? I had nothing on the list last year!
You could try getting another girl from the same line. Although honestly, I have found all the IT dolls look good and photograph fine together.
All is okay Alasse, it went through overnight, so it's on to the next doll now. :) Yes, there are people around who give great service, I found her at www.nicetwicedollshop.com and I have already received an update from USPS to say she is on her way here. :)
DeleteI have her (just love her hair) and she is quite a bit taller, when I put her next to my flat footed Poppy she is a good inch taller, but she is standing on tippy toes. LOL! And her feet are much bigger, but I have just ordered some Phicen shoes and boots, because they are supposed to fit, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I have my eye on a doll with a CI body, but I'm not saying anything until she arrives, I want to surprise you. :)

I'm glad you finally got your refund! Oooh I might have to have a squiz at that store and see what else is there. I always love when you stumble on places that provide such good service.
DeleteOoooh a new doll? Now I am super duper curious. I have been meaning to get a CI girl - it's on my list. I'll have to see what they come out with this year. Your views on the body have me interested. I do know my upgrade doll from last year, Eugenia has feet that won't fit the shoes that came with my other FR girls like Jordan so maybe Eugenia also has bigger feet than the others. Makes finding shoes for them a little difficult.

DeleteIt would make things a lot simpler if the feet were all the same size. My shoe collection is getting out of hand and it looks like I'll need an additional box to store them all. I think I will need to label the sections for each of the different fashion bodies I am accumulating. EEK!

I'm not sure about suggestions since I'm not too familiar with the CI body, can't think of any, but congrats on your purchase, I'm glad it all worked out in the end. I once got an ebay purchase I was super excited for cancelled and I wrote a very ranty message to the seller, I was just super pissed. And the refund took several days to appear on my account too, so I hope you get it soon.

DeleteI think after the initial shock of the cancellation, it was waiting on the return of my funds that was making me stay annoyed, but all is good and forgotten, no use to keep crying over it, better to move on to more positive things. LIKE MORE NEW DOLLS!!

Yup, yup, if you are a doll collector, most time you spend on your hobby is spended on waiting... and waiting... and more waiting. But then the doll arrives and all the waiting is forgotten in the minute you see her/him ;). Congratulations on your purchase! Can't wait to see her, as usual :D

No you're not going round the twist Sharon, you commented on my earlier post, this was just an update to let everyone know I found a replacement, so they didn't all feel as down in the dumps as I first felt. Even though it's nice knowing others around you empathise with you when something rotten happens, one doesn't like to drag others into the pit of gloom. :)

Happy about that you found the doll and for a lower price! And refunds always take time. The waiting is a part of the doll hobby. When I ordered my first one, it felt like years instead of months! :) Hope your doll arrives safely!

Oh me too Niina. With a little luck she might be here this week. At least with these dolls they are in stock, so the waiting isn't as long as it is with BJD's. :)
