Spring Has Sprung

Finally the weather down-under is beginning to warm up and the sun has come out to play in a blue sky! This has all given rise to new enthusiasm for updating my blogs and rearranging pages so they are in the correct blogs . . . I am even becoming more familiar with this New Blogger . . . so it seems some "old dogs" can learn new tricks.

Hopefully the new look will make it easier for readers to find the things they enjoy while they are visiting here. I'm not going to write much today, however I will share a few things with you, that made me smile when I saw them . . . and let's face it with the world as it is today, we could all do with something to make us smile!

Stay healthy, keep yourselves and your loved ones safe, be kind, but most of all be happy!

  1. I'll cross my fingers that y'all have no more wildfires. That was awful!

    1. Thanks RM, but it seems there are a few over your side of the world right now and I noticed recently there has been an outbreak of bushfires up near Darwin. I hope that's not a sign of things to come.

  2. Hi again. This might explain why the only post I see on my reading list are yours, even ones from 5 months ago. I thought it was a bug on blogger, because the new reader is a bit of a mess. Glad to hear that you're feeling more inspired to blog now, can't wait to see what you come up with.

    1. Hi MC! Perhaps so, it seems whenever there are changes on Blogger there are always bugs to be ironed out. I have always listed the blogs I read in the side column on this blog, as this is my main one and the one where I receive the most comments. I hope you can sort yours out. :)

I was inspired to make the changes to my blogs, which I've done, but I'm not sure if I will come up with anything new that's mind blowing. LOL!

    1. Thank you Mia, sometimes change can be a good thing . . . not quite as good as a holiday, but still refreshing. :)

  4. I like your new blog look too. When I posted tonight, Blogger acted like it used to in the past, so maybe some wrinkles got ironed out.

I got to see real life pandas, when I was in 8th grade, *mumble* years ago. They were on loan from China in the Washington DC zoo, and my 8th grade class visited Washington for a field trip.

    1. Thanks Barb, I get a little fed up seeing the same old blog staring back at me every time I post so I thought it was about time I did something to brighten it up. :) Hopefully things are all moving in the right direction and they don't do any more changes that may throw a spanner in the works.
I have a soft spot for Pandas, they are so cute and cuddly and the best thing to ever come out of China. :)

  5. Thank you Linda. The "doggy" is mine and this is what I look at every morning, so you can guess who rules the roost in our house. :) I am so pleased my post made you smile.

  6. Oooh, the new look of your blog is pretty spring-ish and sunny, I like it! I still don't have the courage to try new blogger ;). Thank you for warm, happy pictures! They brighten my day a bit, because here Autumn just started - it rains, it's windy and cold...

    1. Thank you so much Chiriann. I think Blogger are switching everyone over to the New Blogger this month and I must admit once I used it a few times, I found it's not quite as bad as I first thought. You are welcome, we all need a little sunshine. :)

  7. Love the Spring yellow color on your blog!
Over here the Autumn is getting closer and closer. The nights are cold and I am starting to search for socks, mittens and warmer clothes. Even our dog, Bentley, will get some to protect his fur and keep him warm. Your dog is so cute! <3

  8. I did notice the new blog design and colours. I love it. It feels very fresh and perfect for spring. I haven't even really looked at the new "blogger". Will have to see what's changed! Aww your little one is always adorable. Those big eyes just makes me smile. Looks so much like our family dog, Jesse who has been gone for a while now.

    1. Well I needed to do something to brighten up my space, I'm glad you approve. :) At first I hated the new editing, but I am getting used to it now.

It's an old photo of my little brown eyed friend, you wouldn't recognise him as the same dog if you saw him now. He's very furry and really need grooming, but we can't even go do that!! I did get some calming pills from the vet so I could try grooming him myself, but they didn't work. I reckon I'd need to knock him right out before he'd let me near him with the clippers. He's as good as gold with Ashley the little rotter.
