Zwergnase Junior doll by Nicole Marschollek-Menzer ~

I don't think Zwergnase dolls are particularly pretty, however, there is something about the expression on their faces that really appeals to me. I ordered her yesterday and just adore her curly red locks.

CURRENT WISHLIST

Zwergnase Junior doll by Nicole Marschollek-Menzer ~

HEDDA

I already have my lovely Violet, a brunette with blue eyes, so a brown eyed redhead and green eyed blonde will do nicely to form a trio.

I also have another in mind, but she is pre-loved and a doll I want to repaint (if I can get her for the right price). Which also means I probably won't bring home Hedda. If I do, I shall need another Zwergnase doll to create that magic uneven number.

Rosemarie Muller "Wichtel Fiona" for Schildkrot-Puppen ~

FIONA

I love these happy little dolls and have two already. Fiona has been a favourite for a long time and will make up my perfect trio, but somehow she always got pushed aside by another doll.

Hopefully I don't fall in love with any other dolls this year, I simply don't have any room for more dolls unless more of the ones I have move out. This is a very difficult task for me . . . I've tried reducing my collection and have failed every time.

What do you have planned for your dolls this year?

  1. Oh me too! It was more a matter of having so much going on and not having the chance to spend so much time online that stopped me adding more. Somehow I feel this year maybe different, I already have my eye on a new BJD (this only happened yesterday) and she's a real beauty!! I may have to take myself in hand and make some hard decisions regarding my dolls as I'm sure there are a few more I could show the door to. 🤣
I'm with you on two of those points, but the doll clothes sewing will be less this year . . . probably more selective sewing.
    Big hugs,

  2. I plan to sell some of the dolls. Xanadu I translate blogs through a translator, I don't know English. Hugs

    1. Only sell? No buying? You are a very good girl Magdalena. 😊 It makes it much quicker and easier to read blogs if you have the Google translator in your side bar like Chiriann and I have.

  3. Good luck with you dolly plans! Zwergnase dolls looks especially intriguing, like you said - they may not be classical beauties, but they have "something" in their little faces.
I just know I won't be able to reduce my collection, so for now I'm concentrating on finding new places for dolls ;). I don't plan to get any new Barbies or BJDs, but I will definitely get Reina Glitch Crowne from the newest Shadow/Rainbow High series - I'm just waiting for the premiere of the series at the end of January. I also have one nendoroid pre-ordered, Cu Chulainn from the Fate/ series. Like Linda, I would love to make more doll clothes...

    1. Are you planning on an extension to your house Chiriann? Just kidding, but I wish I could afford to do it!! I shall look forward to seeing your RGC and CC when you get them, I haven't seen either of these before.

    2. That would be perfect :D! Sadly, I'm just making some rearrangements on the shelves ;). Aaaand I must confess to some sudden changes in my plans - Reina would have to wait, as I just bought Lily Cheng, a limited Rainbow High doll for the Year of the Tiger. Her price dropped by almost 50%, so I just couldn't help myself XD. Cu Chulainn is safe, at least ;)

    3. Well who can resist a great doll at a bargain price? I'm with you on that front Chiriann. 😁

  4. You are right about the Zwergnase dolls. They have such a lot of character. Not the cute and sweet little girl look, but strong and independent. Ahh. Space, the eternal dilemma.

    1. That's a lovely way to describe them Mia, they do look very strong and independent, some even look defiant and grumpy which also appeals to me. Seems we all have the "space" problem and it doesn't get any easier when we keep adding dolls to our collections . . . but we still manage somehow. 😏

  5. I like the Zwergnase Junior dolls too. I'm with you; they're not the prettiest little things, but they're such characters! Not many dolls are characters nowadays.

    1. It's just as well there aren't many RM, otherwise we'd all be in BIG trouble!
