Still Waiting

I'm still waiting for Nili, she's stuck in Belgium (perhaps I should send Linda to get her LOL!).

I'm also waiting on another doll too. After reading Mia's posts (last one here) regarding the Monst dolls, I decided to add another to my own collection . . . Savage Knuckle Bear (I shall call her Primrose).

When I purchased my first Monst doll (White Cat aka Magnolia) she didn't have the same jointing as the ones Mia has. If I like her body, I may order a few new bodies, one for White Cat and another couple for my IxDolls, Violetta and Marigold.

Then today, while checking messages on MDBF to see if they had any news on Nili, I noticed this gal. The one Gotz face missing from my Happy Kidz collection . . . and she had RED HAIR!! So I immediately added her to my cart.

Then I noticed a little boy had been hiding in the Petitcollin section. His name is Emile and he too has RED HAIR! How lucky am I? Two redheads in one day! YAY!

Needless to say, there was still a little room in the cart for him as well. Of course it didn't take much to convince myself I would be saving on postage by bringing them home together . . . so another stretch of waiting time has been added to the list.

Do you have any dolls arriving? Or am I the only silly ass who keeps crowding them into rooms with no space left?

  2. No, you're not the only one. I bought a Little Miss Matched doll yesterday, and as you saw on my blog I'm sizing up a Gorjuss doll as well. That little red-haired boy is adorable, by the way.

    1. Oh I'm so relieved! LOL! Can't wait to see LMM, I've looked at them several times but have managed to resist them so far. Thank you, Emile was a great find for me, it's not often you come across redheaded boys in the dolly kingdom.

  3. I have no dolls arriving at the moment. But my daughter is looking to move out, and then our master bedroom becomes my doll/sewing/craft room. Who knows what I will have space for then? ;) I do want to put some of my doll money towards accessories and furniture, though.

    1. Oh Barb, I do envy your upcoming space!! I think accessories and furniture is something I need to think about, planning storage is not easy and sometimes when you think you have it all sorted, it turns out you really don't. LOL!

    1. I received notification that Nili has arrived in Australia today, just need to wait for her to clear customs now. Yes, she was a very welcome surprise, they don't often arrive so quickly. The other two will probably arrive in a couple of weeks, but I have plenty to occupy me for now.

  5. I am, I'm not sure what it is that attracts me to redheads, but they do capture my heart. I can see why she appealed to you, I looked at her lovely blue eyes and was tempted myself. MDBF told me there was a delay with the airline, I'm just pleased she's in Oz. I don't know how long Custom's will take to clear her or if I'll need to pay duty but hopefully she will be in my arms by midweek. :)
Do you have a link? I'd love to see, I have a bunny, bear, horse and a cat but no dogs. Waiting for resin dolls is always a test on one's patience, but so worth the wait in the end. :)

  6. I'm so happy to see you back to blogging again. I hope you are feeling better and everything is sorted out now. I know it's been a while since we emailed. Life has been busy with the little one starting prep this year. Glad to see you are still collecting the dolls. I was worried last time I saw your blog, you had been thinking of leaving the blogging world. Oh you are getting the Monst Dolls? I have one of those although I don't do much with her. I hope to check in to your blog more often.

    1. Thank you Alasse, it's good to be back amongst my dolly friends again. :) Hopefully now your daughter has started school, you'll have a little more spare time for yourself and the dolls. I had White Cat from a while ago, but not with the current body so she just sat. The new ones are much better so I have ordered a new body for White Cat, however, I'm not sure how to get her head off, it doesn't seem to be attached the same way as the new dolls. I've tried YouTube without success, so any suggestions?
Hope to see you around more often, big hugs,

    2. I'm hoping more spare time but so far it hasn't worked out that way but maybe this coming week. I have never tried to take their heads off so I'm not sure ... I got the girl with the grumpy face. Wish I could be more help...

  8. Congratulation on getting such a wonderful pair! Can't wait to see them together!
I'm still waiting for the Rainbow High Series 5 dolls to arrive in Poland, I'm planning to get two of them. And then I need to get another free shelf for them, because there is no way to fit all Rainbow Highs into the current one XD

    1. Thank you Chirann. It's always a long wait for me as dolls have a long way to travel. The Rainbow dolls are very popular, I've noticed a few about the blogs, but so far I haven't been tempted. I shall enjoy looking at yours when they arrive though. :)

    1. Perhaps it's because there are less of them produced? I find when looking for dolls there are always heaps of blondes, followed closely by brunettes. Hey I use any excuse I can find to bring home a doll. LOL!

  10. Hello! Such cute red heads! :) And those Monst dolls are such a delight, I would love to own one. Have been looking at sites that sell the dolls, so who knows. Mia did a lovely job with their face ups!
    Hugs!
